Chapter 8 Finally

Once I finish eating, I hop in the shower. Then I throw on a pair of jean shorts and a plain white loose silk shirt, topping it off with a gold necklace. I straighten my hair and let it hang down to my waist. Then I apply eye liner with a little wing at the end.
Mahogony taught me how to do it perfectly.
I brush on a little bit of waterproof eyeliner and finish my look off with pink Chapstick.
I perch on the edge of the bed and put some brown strappy sandals on.
Then, I walk out on the balcony and see Cameron.
He is in a baby blue button down shirt and khaki shorts with of course, his black vans. He is so damn cute.
"Hey." He says, eyeing me.
"Hi." I say shyly.
He turns and faces me with a nervous look on his face.
"What's wrong?" I ask cautiously.
"Oh. Nothing. I was just wondering if- well I was gonna ask if maybe- if you want to- we could maybe go out to dinner together tonight?"
I beam at him and butterflies explode in my stomach.
"I would love that!"
He lets out a sigh of relief and beams back at me.
"Awesome." He says, nervousness gone and confidence back.

"What are we doing today?" Mahogony asks eagerly. She is sitting extra close to Taylor, so I wave my eyebrows up and down at her. She flashes me her middle finger and I giggle.
"What are you laughing at?" Matt smiles.
"Oh ya know..." Mahogony shoots me a look. "Nothing." I say innocently.
"Actually," Cameron starts, "I think she is just so happy because I asked her on a date tonight."
"Oh don't flatter yourself Cam." I tease. "I was laughing at Mahogany.
"Wait." Nash says, confusion laced in his voice. "First off, Cam you asked her out?"
"Sure did." He says pridefully.
"IT'S ABOUT FRICKING TIME!" Nash screams.
I jump back and start laughing.
"Wow." Nash starts "Haley, you don't even know how much Cameron talks about y-"
"How about you shut up?" Cameron interrupts, embarrassed.
I blush and smile, flattered.
"Anyways," Jack G. states, "I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to the beach because we just got to Mexico!"
We all jump up and rush to the door.
Cameron looks down to me and smiles. I look up at him and smile back. Then, I grab his hand and squeeze for a split second. Then I run off to the others.
