Later that night, I change into a rich black dress that hugs my body. It runs down to my mid thighs with long sleeves. I throw on a pair of silver pumps. Then I curl my dark brown hair and let it hang down to my belly button. Then I put on a little bit of mascara making my green eyes pop. And I top my look off with some peach lip stick.
As I walk out of the bathroom after examining myself into the mirror, I'm about to say, "I'll be back around-" but I'm stopped by looking up and seeing everyone gaping at me.
"What?" I say glancing down at my outfit.
"You look-" Nash starts.
"Gorgeous..." Cameron finishes.
My face burns and I give them a shy smile.
"Okay boys," Mahogony says grabbing my arm. "You're making her uncomfortable."
She then walks me outside.
"See you guys later!" I say before I slip out the door with Mahogony.
When we slam the door behind us she turns to me and says,
"Cam is so pissed."
"Why?" I ask innocently.
"Duh. Haley, he likes you! Are you blind? When you were talking to Ryan, he looked like he was going to shoot someone!"
An unintentional smile plays on my lips.
"Oh, I see..." Mahogony says with a sly grin. "You like making Cameron jealous! Oooh. You like him!"
"Oh yeah?" I say, embarrassed, "Well not as much as you like Taylor!"
"Do not!" She denies folding her arms across her chest.
"Mmhmm." I giggle.
Still laughing, I walk away to my date.
