Chapter 2: It's not over

Ever since Greyson and I stopped being friends, his family constantly calls me. 2 missed calls from Lisa, 4 missed calls from Tanner, 6 missed calls from Alexa, and 3 from….Greyson? I was shocked to see he called me, maybe cause he was gonna tell me…that I was right the whole time. I listened to my voicemail, from Greyson.

“Katelyn, look…I talked to Lauren. And I just cannot believe you’d make up some lie. I know you like me but that’s no reason to get all jealous to make me and her break up. You know I love her and I’m just shocked that you’d try to hurt me like that. Well bye.”

I couldn’t breathe, Greyson was clueless. He was blinded by love. I hate that crazy stupid emotion.  I immediately called Caitlyn.

                “Hey Kate!” Moira answered.

“Hey Moira, I need to tell Caitlyn something.” I replied.

“Sure!” she said giving the phone to Caitlyn.

                “Hey name twin!” Caitlyn answered.

“Now is not the time.” I answered as serious as possible.

                “It’s Greyson…Isn’t it?” She replied.

“Yes, we aren’t friends anymore.” I said resisting my tears.

“WHAT?! You’re his best friend!!” She said.

“I was…WAS his best friend.” I said crying this time.

“NO, NO JUST NO…Call him.” She said.

I knew Caitlyn was serious. I had to call him. So Caitlyn and I hung up. I dialed Greyson’s number. My stomach was twisting and turning.

                “Hello?” a female voice answered.

It was Lauren.

“Where is Greyson?” I asked tightly. I tried to sound as demanding as possible.

“Oh, look who’s being brave. I know what you saw. Yeah I’m cheating, funny how Greyson doesn’t even believe his “best friend”.” She said.

“You know Lauren; one of these days…You’ll stop getting your way. You made me lose my best friend.” I said trying not to cry.

“Okay, whaaaatever.”  She said. I could tell she was annoyed and rolling her eyes.

“Get Greyson on the phone.” I said demandingly.

“He doesn’t wanna talk to you.” She said hanging up.

I was furious. I wasn’t gonna let it end like this. I called Caitlyn back and told her everything. That’s when we decided we were gonna get revenge. That plan right there is how I REALLY lost Greyson for good.
