Chapter 3: It's over now
Caitlyn and I were planning to catch Lauren in action and prove to Greyson that she’s a cheater. She can’t get away with this.
“Kate, are you afraid Greyson is gonna hate you more?” Caitlyn asked.
‘He doesn’t hate me…does he?” I asked her.
Caitlyn shrugged.
“He probably does hate me.” I said.
“Katelyn Ashley, you don’t have reasons to think like that.” She said.
“So revenge?” I asked.
*The next day*
“Okay, there’s James…Lauren’s *sigh* boyfriend.” I said. It gave me the chills.
“And there’s Greyson…Lauren’s other *sigh* boyfriend.” Said Caitlyn.
We got James and Greyson to show up at the same place at the same time, Lauren was meeting James but Caitlyn called Greyson and told him where and what time to show up. The good thing was Caitlyn and Lauren weren’t friends but they weren’t enemies either. Caitlyn was friends with Greyson but nowhere near as close as I was.
Lauren showed up looking for James. Our plan was beginning. Lauren ran towards James leaping into his arms. Then it happened, Greyson saw it all. Caitlyn and I saw the hurt in his eyes.
“Katelyn, I’m so sorry.” He cried.
I walked away saying. “You’re welcome.” He owed me. He started chasing after me, “Wait! Please I am sorry I didn’t believe you! Forgive me?!”
“Greyson, you obviously don’t have your priorities straight. What happened to “best friends first?” I said.
“I don’t know, I just really loved her.” He replied crying.
“Well, I don’t know…I just really loved you. But not…” I began to cry and took a deep breath. “anymore.” I continued.
I ran off and Caitlyn followed.
“Caitlyn, I think I’m done with him…for good.” I said still crying.
“That’s a mature move. You guys were really close.” She said.
“Well now it’s over….we’re through.” I said.
Greyson was behind me, he ran after me. He heard me.
*Present day*
That wasn’t how I wanted our friendship to end. I never did actually want it to end. Caitlyn, Moira and I are now closer than ever. They’ve been here the past 2 years. Where has Greyson been? Well…he’s anywhere but here. I’m not over him. I’m still crazy in love with him. Except I know not to fall for him because my priorities were straight from the start.
“Kate, Greyson is coming to town.” Moira said.
“Yeah on tour, wanna go?” Caitlyn asked.
“Guys…im not so sure I wanna…”
“Katelyn, it’s been 2 years and he’s famous, im sure he’s changed.” Moira said cutting me off.
“You’re right, I wanna see him.” I replied.
I don’t know what I just got myself into. As long as Caitlyn and Moira are with me, I should be fine.
