√ Chapter 4. Waking Up The Brothers and Opening Christmas Presents
My alarm goes off and I slowly open my eyes to see that it's 7 in the morning. I installed my alarm really early, because today is Christmas day. I get up from my bed and walk straight into my bathroom. I shower for a while, wash my hair and shave myself and then turn the shower off. I immediately miss the warmth of the shower. When I get out of the shower I notice that I forgot to bring clothes with me into the bathroom and after drying I walk into my room. I grab a warm sweater and jeans and walk downstairs to see none of the lazy asses has woken up yet.
Well, I'll better make some breakfast to make up for what I'm going to do in about half an hour.
I cook some bacon and eggs and turn the gas low so they won't get cold while I wake up the boys. This time I don't use a pan and spoon, but I'm just going to scare them. I guess that will help just as much. Though, I have to find some new ways to wake them up. It's always funny to wake them up, even though they sometimes get really mad, but whatever, it's not my problem, right? Well, it is when they want to get revenge, but before that, nope.
I walk upstairs and first enter Adam's room. He's still deeply asleep and sprawled out on the bed. I have no idea how he can sleep in that position, it doesn't look comfortable at all.
I walk up to him with all my ninja skills and when I'm close enough I scream-whisper, "Boo." in his ear. He immediately sits straight up in his bed and before he can grab me and kill me or anything I run to Bryce's room.
I repeat the same process with him and then with Blake, Cain, David and when I enter Caleb's room I see he too is still asleep. I slowly walk to him and when I lean toward his ear he suddenly grabs me and pins me underneath him. From shock I scream a little, but luckily for him not too loud.
"You didn't think you would get away with that. Have you seen how early it is?" Caleb asks annoyed.
"Well, I was already awake at 7am so don't complain. I made breakfast," I added the last part really fast so he wouldn't be able to talk straight through me.
"Hmm, okay, you get away with it thistime, but watch your back," he says threateningly and then he just kind of jumps off of me and walks out of his room. I follow him soon, because I'd like to have some breakfast myself, before those pigs eat all the food on their own.
When I get downstairs everyone is eating and they saved a plate for me, thank God. I take a seat next to Adam and David and start eating. As soon as everyone is done eating me and Bryce wash the dishes and go into the living room as soon as we're finished. Everyone is waiting there for us so we can start unpacking the presents. There's no place for me to sit because of Cain lying on to the couch so I just take a seat on Adam's lap. I know he doesn't care so it doesn't really matter to me.
"Who starts?" I ask excited.
"How about we first give you all your presents?" Adam asks.
"Sure, if that's what you all want?" I shrug and they nod and Bryce stands up and grabs a few packages from under the tree that we placed there yesterday after decorating the tree. It's not our normal way of present opening, but you don't hear me complaining.
He first gives me the biggest package and I shake it first to hear what's inside. There is just a little ramble, but nothing that gives it away. I look curiously at all their waiting faces and then I start ripping the paper. When all the paper is gone there is only a box left.
"Open it," Adam says in my ear. I slowly lift the top of the box and at first I don't recognize what's inside, but when I look closer inside I recognize the light pink ballet Pointe shoes and the same color pink normal ballet shoes. I look up at them with a shocked expression.
