I grab my bag with my shoulder pads, stick, and cleats in it and ride to school with the bag and my bookbag on my motorbike. I decided to leave a little earlier than normal for some reason. I get to school and park my bike. I see a figure sitting on the root of the big tree. Then I see it stand up and walk over to me. I squint my eyes trying to see who it is.
TJ- Hey, (Y/N).
(Y/N)- Oh, hey TJ. I thought Liam scared you off away from me for a second and I wouldn't see you again.
TJ- Nope. You can't get rid of me that easily.
I giggle.
(Y/N)- So, back to our other conversation.... What's it like being Captain? Is it hard?
TJ- Ah, on that question again. It is sometimes. You know it's fun being Captain but it also takes a lot of work. So it's 50-50.
(Y/N)- Hey, we could come see each other's practices. If you want?
TJ- I think that'd be awesome but I have practice when you have practice. So that would be kinda hard. Although, come to the swimming pool after your practice. I'll try to see what I can do.
(Y/N)- Ok. I have a game tonight. You could come to that.
TJ- Sweet. What time?
(Y/N)- 4:30.
Ryan- TJ, dude come on!
TJ- Ok! Thanks, now go get ready to kick butt.
(Y/N)- Ok, go get em Captain.
TJ- I, I.
I giggle. TJ waves and runs off to catch up to his friend.
