as i push the double doors open, i take a deep breath. last year wasn't too bad, i got good grades and made a lot of friends. although i got really attached to this one guy i'm sorta kinda over him now. we got really close and he told me he liked me so, i told him i liked him too. he's all around amazing honestly, he would stay up hella late just to talk to me and always helped me with my problems and let's not forget how cute he is. ;) but it ended over the summer because he met a girl at camp. it shouldn't have really matter to me it's not like we were dating anyways but, that's that. i've never really been interested in anyone since then. anywaysssss kenzie and i tell chad and charles to meet us at our lockers after they get their schedules. we break apart and me and kenzie head off to our lockers. even though they change our lockers every year we've always had a locker next to each other. we take out our books for first period and then compare schedules. thank goodness we have every class together, i'd probably die without her. as we wait for chad and charles, a boy i had never seen before starts to walk in our direction. i pretended not to notice just in case he wasn't really coming to us. he stop right next to me and begins to mess with his lock. i gotta admit he was super cute. it looked like he was having trouble opening his locker so i kindly turned to him and asked if he wanted some help.

and with that, he was gone. i slowly turned around to kenzie who was engulfed in a conversation with charles. i hadn't realized they were even there. chad noticed i had finished talking to joey and smirked at me. "don't looook at me like thaaattt" "mads has a crushhhhhh" "shut up all i know is his name" "okayyy whatever you say" "yea yea yea let's go to class losers". we all had the same classes together. so off we went to first period, history. the teacher was sitting at her desk on her phone and she didn't look like she was going to be giving instructions anytime soon so, i just decided to sit wherever i wanted. charles,chad,kenzie,and i decided to sit in the back corner. we were just sitting there talking and i noticed joey had walked in, he was about to sit by himself so i called him over. "joey! come sit with us!" he turned in our direction and gave me a slight smile. after he set all his stuff down he joined in our conversation. this is going to be a fun class.
*skip 2nd & 4th period*
it's currently time for lunch and i had offered joey to eat lunch with us. nothing exciting really happened we just talked and everyone got to know joey better.
