we all got into my car, except joey he was just gonna follow us in his car. during the drive chad decided to bring up joey, once again. "soooo joeys cool huh" "yeah" we all reply at the same time. "he's sorta cute too" kenzie shrugged. "we all know madison seconds that" char says. my cheeks heat up "i guess so" i reply. they laugh from the backseat so i tell them to shut up and turn on some music. i decided to turn on Losin Control by Russ and we all start singing. "SHES FALLING IN LOVE NOWWWWWW. LOSING CONTROL NOWWWWWW. FIGHTING THE TRUTH TRYING TO HIDE BUT I THINK ITS ALRIGHT GIRLLL. SHES FALLIN BUT SHE DOESNT THINK HE'LL CATCH HER. 'CAUSE HER LAST RELATIONSHIP WAS A DISASTER" we finally got to my house and i turned off the music and locked the doors. everyone got out and joey pulled into the driveway and got out of his car. after i unlocked the door everyone went inside and i found a note on the kitchen table. it was from my parents, they just told me they would be gone for work for a while, as usual. "are your parents always gone?" a voice said behind me. i turned around, joey. "oh uh yeah" "that must suck" "yep" i said popping the p. "anywayssss lets do homework" i announced.

i grabbed my money,keys, and phone from the counter. when everybody was outside i locked the door behind me and got into the passenger seat of joey's car. since we were too lazy to go inside we went through the drivethru. everyone got what they ordered, i ordered a caramel frappuccino. we just drove around aimlessly for a while and talked to each other. it started to get late so joey dropped everyone off at their houses. i was the only one left in the car after kenzie left. so we sat in silence for a while. slightly startling me, joey spoke up.
j- i really want to thank you for letting me hang out with you and your group today.
m- oh, of course you're hella fun to be around
j- it was super fun, i don't really have that many friends and i'm glad i got to make some new ones
m- aw i'm glad i have the honor to be one of your friends
j- haha i'm the lucky one you're so smart and funny and prett- pretty fun to be around

i walk up to my front door and wave to joey as he drives away. it's almost 9 so i decided to eat something before i go to bed since starbucks isn't much of a dinner. i wasn't super hungry so i decided to make ramen. after i finished it i went upstairs and got ready for bed. i changed into pajamas and go into my bed. just as i do every night i scroll through all my social media until i start to feel tired. before i fall asleep i open up the group chat.
