joey's pov
i'm super excited for the movies today. once our last class of the day was over everyone got into my car and off we went to the movie theater.(a/n i think they were supposed to go home first but oh well) everyone paid for their tickets and we got popcorn, drinks, and candy to eat. what a nutritious afterschool snack! we went inside of the theater room and found seats at the very top. it was pretty empty since school basically just ended. we all sat down and it was (starting from aisle seat) charles, chad,kenzie, madison, and then me. lowkey i was really happy that i got to sit next to madison. the previews were still playing so we were just talking about random things, then madison turned to me and whispered "don't say anything to the others but i'm really scared." aw poor mads. "i won't don't worry but i'll be right here the whole time so if any evil spirits try to kill you i'll be here to protect you." i respond. "joeyyyyyyy" she pouts. it's so cute when she does that. "i'm kiddinggg but seriously it'll be fine, i'm right next to you." "thanks". we all wrap up our conversations and the movie starts.
*skip the movie*
madison was screaming the entire movie. i gotta admit it was pretty funny but the movie was actually kind of scary. we all got up and left the theater. i drove everybody home and as usual madison's house was the last stop. it was quiet most of the ride until madison spoke up. "joey..."
"yeah?"
"imtooscaredtosleepatmyhousebymyself."
"mads i can't hear you slow down"
she takes a deep breath
"i'm too scared to sleep at my house by myself"
"i don't know if my mom will let me stay at your house with just us but, she'll probably let you sleep over at my house. we have an extra room."
"thank you thank you thank youuuuu. i was NOT trying to have some evil spirits kill me in my sleep."
"hahaha no problem. let me just call her to make sure but we'll stop at your house first since we're almost there anyways and you can pack what you need."
"ok thanks again joey"
"anytime mads"
and with that we arrived at her house. she opened the door and said she was going to go upstairs and pack. i stayed downstairs and called my mom.

j: hey mom
m: hey jojo, are you coming home soon?
j: yeah uhm i was wondering if my friend madison could sleepover. we watched a scary movie and she said that she was too scared to sleep at home since her parents are gone on a business trip
m: oooooh my baby joey has a girlfriend of course she can stay over! i cant wait to meet her!!
j: mooooommmmm she's not my girlfriend she's just a friend that so happens to be a girl
m: uh huh that's what they all say
j: i just met her a few days ago we're just friends
m: yeah yeah yeah we'll see about that
j: alright mom i gotta go thank you for understanding love you and i'll see you in a few
m: no problem jo, love you too
*end of call*
after i hung up i made my way upstairs. eventually i found her room. i looked around and it was nicely decorated with a yellow theme shown throughout. i offered to help her and she accepted so, she's done now. she goes through a whole checklist and run through of everything. "alright that's everything." and with that she locks the doors and off to my house we go. it's a short drive so we arrive there quickly. i grabbed madison's bags and mentally prepare both madison and myself for all the embarrassment my family will cause. i knock on the door because i forgot my key and slowly the door opens.
a/n i'm so so so sorry that i didn't update for like a 2 weeks i was having major writers block. i didn't know what to write for this chapter cause the movies was really boring so woop woop sleepover with joey. i didn't read over this chapter so sorry if there's bad grammar and spelling. vote if ya wanna & comment any suggestions you have
