Some religions don't engage with this type of celebration. But for my owner's religion, the called it 'birthday'.  It's the day where day emerged outside of their mothers and finally get to experience the world. It kinda sounds gross but it is amazing.

She would disappear from this house for a week during and after her birthday then comes back the next day. She rarely leaves this house. Like why would she? She has her everything here.

"I have to see the world for myself alone."

With some quote like that, I don't get it. Like I said, she has her everything here; her stuff, family, home and me! Well coming from me, I was 'born' differently. If I were to compare who my parents were, I might not be able to count them on fingers. ('Cause I don't have any). Some of them might be machines and some might be humans; or aliens! That'd be cool.  But it all comes down to this. I'd like to think my parent is my owner; adoptive.

So yeah, birthdays. "Every year is a step nearing forever; forever sleeping". Another quote she jokes around often this day that I don't understand. Probably because I don't sleep. Oh well.
