She had to keep reminding herself that it's just a terrible dream. It felt so real to her though, like she could feel the warm steamy smoke rubbing across her face. Well, what would be her face.

The girl turned her head to see a huge door going upward. It seemed like the door was pretty far away. It was revealing more and more light into the huge room filled with children.

The warm light touched the little girls face. The girl looked down at the floor. Bridget could not see what the little girl was wearing before but, now she could. Bridget saw what she was wearing.

It was a simple white t-shirt with white pants and shoes to go along with it. There was a long black tag with white text that seemed to not only be attached to the shirt but, it was also going through her skin. It read "TEST PATIENT: 3345,"

"Oh, god what happened to you?" Bridget tried to say but, got no response.

While the door was rising, Bridget could see the monsters vanishing from existence. Right, when the light touched them they disappeared into smoke. The door finally reached the top and she was still staring at the open gap of light.

It was almost blinding. She started to see a silhouette forming from the bright gap. It started walking closer to the now well-lit room. With closer inspection, it had black smoke falling behind it too. But, it seemed more human-like.

It was not twitching at all like the monsters did. It also wasn't as tall as the other dark beings. Every step it got closer she felt like she was having a panic attack.

Her heart was racing. Again, she thought how was that possible. None of this made sense to her. The little girl grabbed her long, dark black hair and started to chew on it.

It got closer and closer until finally, it reached the room. It stood there for a couple of minutes.
The whole room started to shake. The cages were almost bouncing up and down. The thing started to scream. It sounded masculine and way more human than those monsters.

The kids started screaming. Bridget felt like they knew what was going to happen.

The smoke was getting bigger but, it was coming from the cages. The little girl started to cover her mouth. Each cage was feeding the smoke or whatever it was to the man.

Bridget was wondering why the little girl covered her mouth and where the smoke was coming from. The screams were getting worse and louder. It was almost the little girl's cages turn.

The man at the end of the long room started to yell and moan. It was getting kind of uncomfortable for Bridget but, she was more terrified than anything. His voice filled the room screaming "YES, YES, MORE."

The screams were getting closer. The little girl held on to her mouth harder. The smoke was supposed to come out of her cage but, it didn't.

Until a few more seconds pass and smoke started coming out from her mouth. She held on even tighter to her mouth, so the smoke would not escape. It was starting to break through her hand. Her cheeks were getting bigger. It looked like they were about to explode. She tried to hold it back as hard as she could.

But, it finally started flooding out of her mouth. Her neck snapped backwards, and her mouth opened to a huge extent. The little girl started to scream so loudly it was hard for Bridget to hear anything else. All Bridget could do was watch this horrific event unfold before her.

The last of the smoke fell out of her mouth and she started to cry again. Bridget felt the same emotion. She wanted to huddle up in a corner and cry.
She felt less than human at that point. She was broken down, useless. The man spoke for the last time. It made her and Bridget jump at the same time.

"COME AND GET ME NOW BRIDGET THOMPSON," the man yelled.

"This is not real," she had said to herself a million times. Too many emotions were flowing through her body right now she could not take it. The man finally walked back into the white room and the door went down behind him.

The little girl stopped crying when she heard that comment from the man. "Bridget," the little girl whispered. "It must be her... It must be," she said almost hopeful.

Before Bridget could even comprehend what she said, she woke up on her bed crying and having an immense pain in her back.
