⚰️I DID EVERYTHING⚰️

27 2 1

oh dear,
don't you understand?
i did everything for you.
everything.

i moved storms and collided galaxies
i sent a dove to watch over you
and make sure no one else got the bliss
of your lips on theirs
and waiting for your return

i drew masterpieces
and all reminded me of you
i would send them to you and wait
for your return

i would tear out all my limbs and lay there
hopeless
the blood seeping from my wounds that can never be undone
waiting for you return

i would inhale the most toxic gases for you
and drown myself in the deepest river if you needed me to
and wait for you return

my dull corpse sinking six feet under
and wait for your return

would you come to my funeral, darling?
would you grieve?
would you buy even the most dear flower for me?
and rest it upon my grave?

would you touch the engraved letters of my name on my concrete grave?
rain pattering on your umbrella?
or would you leave me there?
would you forget me?

i waited for your return.
and you never came back.

i did everything for you.
and you didn't.
