Jamie

The last two periods finished pretty quickly and everyone excitedly ran out the doors heading home.

Lucky them. They didn't have to spend another fifty minutes with mr Johnston. I swear i could stab him, and enjoy it.

I turned round the corner to the maths corridor to find three boys and a girl standing outside his door.

The girl was in the year above me, Jenna Walter. It was a surprise to see her here, I would have thought she's be with her o' so known boyfriend, Kieran Dudley, the most popular boy in the school.

The three boys were all in my year, firstly there was Michael Collins, delinquent. Secondly there was Jack Pilles, another delinquent and then there was Ryder, supposed badass.

I strode up to the doors confidently pulling out my red slip, seeing that everyone else had theirs in hand. Everyone bar Ryder was facing the other way and I couldn't keep my eyes from traveling back to his. He watched me confidently and all I could think of was, sex god.

'What you doing here, chicken? Not enough ticks on your homework or are you just volunteering to be here?' Ryder asked acting like a smart ass.

'Actually it's for making your best friend look like a little girl in front of the whole school.' I lied.

Ryder shifted his eyes from mine as his smirk dropped, but only for a quick second.

'You broke his nose.' He said simply.

'Maybe I done him a favour then, his nose was awful anyway.' I smirked.

I could see the gleam in his eyes as he tried not to laugh. His mouth opened ready to say something but Mr Johnston's foot steps echoed through the corridor, making us turn him.

'Oh sorry, I thought I had left my door open. I was just in the staff base so sorry you had to wait out here.' He explained as we moved apart giving him space to open the door.

We all filed in handing him our red slips as we passed. I headed to my usual seat near the window and shoved my bag on the seat beside mine.

'So, do you all know what to do?' The teacher asked to everyone as they took their seats.

I looked around at the same time as everyone and we all had blank faces.

'Firstly, I have no idea why you are turning around, Jamie. I told you exactly what you were to do when you left before lunch.' I rose my eyebrow at him and he continued, 'you have to copy down today's notes.' He informed me impatiently.

I huffed my annoyance and took out my maths note jotter and searched for a pencil. Giving another huff, I threw my bag back onto the chair and started to lift my hand as something was chucked at the back of my head.

'What the f-' I started turning around to see Ryder. He looked back at me innocently as if he hadn't done anything. I scanned the floor and my eyes landed on a pencil just next to my chair. I reached down to pick it up and turned back around.

'Um thanks?' I said more as if it were a question.

'No problem, chicken.' He said sweetly. Something was up.

I turned back around and the teacher was still talking to one of the delinquents at the front, telling them what to do.

'Im always prepared, babe.' He said seductively. Without turning round I could fell his gaze burning the back of my head, Waiting for a reaction, but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction.
