Time to get serious

A/N: I'm soooo sorry i havent updated in AGES, I moved back into my house about two weeks ago and only now have i got wifi, im sooo sorry i hope you all understand! :) 

Zahns POV:

Our plan was perfect, I smirked and leaned back in my chair. Clove had a map of the palace in frount of her. She new everything about the place. Apparently they have a massive fishtank as a wall and keep some poor mermade trapped in there. "You did your homework then." I laughed and she just rolled her eyes and smirked. "So, we brake in through here. No guards are ever patrolling around there because it hasnt been a problem in the past. We go through the underground tunnels used for escapes and find the slaves chambers. We grab Raven and get out." I nodded and smiled. "yeah that about sums it up." She nodded. "sweet, now if you excuse me, i have to get going. heard about some sort of party for vamps. thought i might crash." I rolled my eyes and nodded. "see you tomorrow then." she nodded. "Yeah whatever now get out." She joked. I rolled my eyes ran out.

Ashleys POV:

I pulled up at Seths Drive waiting to pick him up and take him to school. He ran out seconds later. He had sunglasses on and him hood up. He got in the car. "Seth why are you wearing sunglasses? Are you ok?" He took them off and i saw his eyes were blood red. "Oh my gosh i completely forgot! Are your parents ok?! you didn't..." I trailed off, he shook his head and pushed me down and bit me. 

I pulled up at school and turned off the engine, we got out the car and walked hand in hand to first period. "What lesson do you have?" He asked. "P.E." I groaned. (A.N/ Thats sport.) Seth sighed. "math, different classes." I shrugged and kissed him goodbye and made my way to class.

When i got there i went strait to the teacher. "Miss im sitting out again today." I stated. it was i different teacher then our usual tho. "Nope sorry no exuses." I groaned. "but-" "GET.CHANGED." i walked off and pulled on a tank-top and shorts, i heard some girls having a conversation about me the other side of the lockers. I listened in. "haha its so funny how Ashley has to do P.E. She always just sits there and watches." One said, "I bet she smokes, thats why shes rubbish at sport." They all laughed and i growled. The reason i dont do P.E. is because im scared i might run to fast and expose myself. Well all that fears gone, ill prove them wrong. The girls that were talking are the sporitist in the school and really popular. Im going to make them look like fools.

We walked out to the feild. "Lots to do today girls, you will be running 1200 metures for cross country and doing a bleep test while your at it." The teacher smirked. A few girls groaned and the sporty ones cheered i just smirked. "ok everyone to the starting line." I walked over and a few girls sniggered. "One your marks...get set...GO!" I spead off full speed not vampire speed just human speed to the max. "YOUR GOING TO FAST YOUR GUNNA BE OUT OF BREATH!" One girl screamed behind me. I jsut rolled my eyes. I went ten times round the corse and finished. The teacher came over to me. "you did that in three minutes and twenty seven second and have beaten the records by far." She said shocked. I shrugged and sat down, i waited ten minutes and the girls that were talking about me finished. They all looked shocked. "she must have taken drugs or something." one muttered and i just smirked at them and winked.

I walked back to the locker room and got changed into my black skinny jeans and a dark red tank top with a baggier black one over the top with the writing ‘Bite Me’ on it which seth found funny. I shook my head and fixed my hair into a half up half down with a dark red bow at the back where its tied. I heard the girls whispering about me. “Is there a drug you can take to make you like…really fast?” One asked. “I dunno, probably.” I chuckled, idiots. i slung my bag over my shoulder and walked past them smirking as i did. They glared and i just smiled innocently. Just as i was about to walk out the door i was stopped by the teacher. “I’m impressed. Your record states that you have had a lot of excuses in the past but your really good at sport as far as i can see.” She seemed confused. I just shrugged. “Couldn’t be bothered.” I muttered. “Thats not the right attitude to have. Anyway i would like you to join the athletics team and i am nominating you as captain.” I groaned. “whyyyyy?!” She gave me a stern look. “you need to earn the extra credit from missing out on everything. So, ill see you on thursday after school.” She gave me the look that said: you-better-be-there-or-ill-track-you-down-and-murder-you.” I nodded and walked to next lesson. Suddenly i got a phone call. I looked at my phone and saw it was Zahn. I answered it. “Im waiting outside to pick you up. Its time to get your mother.”

Ravens POV:

I sat by the window and tried to remember. Thats all i did lately. What Jason told me just Dosen’t seem right, I mean…He says its true but it just feels wrong. I searched my mind for anything, anything about my past or anyone that i used to know. Suddenly everything went white and i saw a girl, about 16 with long blonde hair that flowed down her back in perfect curls, skin as flawless and white as snow and blood red eyes that stared into mine filled with love and…fear? Then it hit me like a missile. “Ashley.” I whispered. Suddenly a excruciating pain rippled through my body. I screamed and arched over, I started coughing up blood, my vision went black, i screamed, tears streaming down my face. More pain, it felt like fire burning through my veins, destroying me inside out. “Oh shit.” I heard someone scream. I saw the outline of Jason. “GET AWAY FROM ME!” I screamed. He started shaking with anger. “ONE THING?! YOU COULDNT DO ONE THING?! YOU UNGRATEFUL BITCH! I LOVED YOU BUT NO ALL YOU DO IS IGNORE ME AND SIT IN FROUNT OF A BLOODY WINDOW ALL DAY!” He yelled while kicking me. I heard a sickening crack and i knew he had broken at least four ribs. I screamed while my body rippled in pain. “I HOPE YOU FRICKING DIE AND BURN IN HELL YOU COW!” He screamed and kicked me in the face. I howled in pain. Everything started to go black. Suddenly i saw a figure bolt into the room. He froze when he saw me. “Raven.” He stammered. “Zahn…” I whispered before everything went black.

Zahns POV:

“Zahn…” She whispered before she went limp, a man was continually kicking her while yelling cuss words. “YOU UNGREATEFUL PIG!” He screamed. “DON’T YOU FRICKING CALL MY WIFE THAT!” I screamed, my whole body shaking with rage. “OR WHAT?!” He challenged. “OR ILL RIP YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF!” I yelled and lunged at him. I tackled him to the ground and started punching him, all i could see was red as i took all my anger on this demon who stole my wife. I ripped his head off and heard a sob. “mum…p-please d-don’t leave m-m-me.” I turned to see Ashley holding her mothers weak form in her arms. Raven Lifted a shaky hand and touched Ashley's cheek. I watched in amazement as i saw the power flow through her and into my daughters weeping form. I rushed over and took her from ashley. “Its going to be okay, come on, stay with me.” I whispered. She opened her eyes and i gasped. They were pitch black. She smiled weakly and whispered softly. “I love you.” Before she went limp and her eyes went lifeless. I started shaking, tears rolling down my face. “I-i-i love you too.” I whispered before nuzzling into her neck and crying my eyes out. I heard a grunt and saw Clove tackling a vampire and ripping his windpipe out. “WE HAVE TO GO I CANT HOLD THEM OFF ANY LONGER!” She yelled and punched one in the face before ripping its heart out. Ashley was shaking and staring at her mother in shock. “We h-have to g-go.” I stuttered. she just shook her head. I grabbed ashley and threw her over my sholder. and started walking out. “NO!” She screamed. “Mummy…” She whimpered. “She didn’t make it.” I mumbled sadly. Clove nodded and picked up ravens lifeless body and ran to the gate. 

*THREE DAYS LATER* 

We lifted my loves body into the coffin. Ashly sobbed as she watched her mothers body get sealed into a box and buried. She hadn’t spoken since…it happened, just cried. We sat there for hours, i saw Ashley hands were in fists and where a sickly blue colour from holding them too tight. “Honey, your going to hurt yourself.” I stated weakly. She snapped her head up to me and i gasped at her appearance. Her hair was a darker blonde with black dip-dyed looking ends and black stripes going through it and her eyes were the deepest red, almost black. Something changed in Ashley that day. Something snapped, I may have lost raven, but little did i know that I lost Ashley too.

Well thats it for this book!!! I’ll probably edit it and stuff cause i started it when i was younger and i was rubbish at this stuff back then…so yup. I’m definitely  going to do a sequel, DON’T YOU WORRY GURL. But it will be a couple of weeks cause i wanna edit this book and i’ve been neglecting my other books so ya.
