THE LIFE BEFORE HER EYES.

CHAPTER 19

"So I heared you were kidnapped"Probably by someone "Look am here to apologize for my unruly behaviour towards you since you got enrolled in to our school, said Natalie taking her seat next to mine.
"And why do you think so Natalie? Asked David giving me a Peck on my chin.
I look at Natalie and see's how furious and jealous she can be anytime David is around me.
Cause she's so stubborn arrogant and naive" Replied Natalie smiling warmly.
I can see,that the mean old  Natalie is gone now, sugar plum should we forgive her" Asked David smoothing my hand.
I look at him and then back to Natalie who is on her knees.
"Yeah what ever!! I forgive you now stand up" I said to her helping her to her feet.
"So what do you say.Friends? She asked smiling warmly at me.
"Yeah friends" I replied as we strolled down to class not minding the little gossip and comments every student were whispering.
It was a new beginning for me and also a quest for me to find my mother. Hopefully the holidays was near by and I couldn't wait to get back to  my mother land.
David and his Dad decided to take me home and I was so happy cause,David was not only going to my country. But he was going to see,how life was in Nigeria.
"So i have heard a lot about your country and I can't wait to see your parents." Said David holding my hand as we walked to the taxi busy waiting for us.

Boarding the taxi, The driver made for my home. So much has changed about Nigeria. It was looking evergreen people were still going to their place of work in a hurry.
Girls stared at me and I stared back.
"Probably they're jealous cause you've got one handsome guy to your self" Teased David waving to them.
I smile a bit and punch him on the shoulder.

The house was looking expensively furnished. I told the driver that we are at the wrong house,But he was insisting that the mighty mansion was my home. When did my father build an enourmous house?. I was just gone for the past  six years. How?
As the taxi got close to my house I could see my brother seated outside staring out in to the void.
As I stepped down tears started to clog my vision. At seeing me he just stands and keeps on staring at me, Mr Wells Then back to David who is holding my bag.
Who are you? He asked studying me more closely.
I am..........
Just as I was about to tell him my name my mum comes out of the house and is shocked as she stands staring at me.
Isabella? Called out my mum as she stepped forward to touch me.
I ran in to her arms and cried my heart out.
"Mum!!  I called her and hugged her back letting the tears flow freely.
We thought we lost you where have you been? Are you alright? She asked breaking the hug and staring in to my eyes.
Mum look it's a long story, But I promise to tell you everthing. Here's Mr wells, a detector in England who took care of me. And here is  David  his son and also my fiance I replied smoothing his hand.
My brother just stood at his spot staring at me.
"Thank you very much sir. Thank you"Cried my mum hugging him as she led us in to the house.
"Now I know where you got that beauty of yours from" chuckled David drawing me close to him.

Getting in I met my Dad busy reading the newspaper. At seeing me he drops the paper and calls out to me. "Welcome home my daughter may God bless you"
He said as he hugged me crying his heart out.
I also  introduced the Wells to him and his reaction was just like my mum.

So,here I was being loved by my family, my boyfriend and also home again.
Indeed it was a life before my eyes as I had seen my future before embarking on the journey to England.
