The Beautiful Princess and Her Fearsome Monster

Once upon a time, there was a princess named Sally. Sally was the most beautiful princess in the entire kingdom. She lived in a castle with her mommy and her daddy, and she was very happy.

Far in the forest, there was also a monster! His name was Max. Max was the most fearsome monster in the whole forest. He roared and stomped and scared everyone.

Max the fearsome monster always went over to the magical kingdom of Aliceland where Princess Sally lived. He always stormed over to a village and started terrorizing everyone! The villagers always ran away; they were really scared! Then the brave knight always came and sent Max back to the forest where he belonged.

One day, Max the fearsome monster went to princess Sally's castle. He was really grumpy, so he thought he would give the royal family of Aliceland a scare! He roared and thrashed and stormed about.

Princess Sally was scared when she watched from her window. The guards were fighting him and making sure he went away! But Max kept making noise and being fearsome! Princess Sally was sad. She wanted to do something. The fearsome monster Max was scaring the whole kingdom!

As Max the fearsome monster stomped away with a frown on her face, Sally the beautiful princess made a plan. Her plan would make sure that Max didn't terrorize her kingdom! She ran down the stairs and told all the brave knights.

The knights didn't like Sally's plan, though. They thought it was silly. They laughed at her and they called her silly Sally. This made princess Sally cry. The brave knights were actually really mean!

But princess Sally was smart. She stopped crying and made a new plan. This plan didn't need the mean knights. She gathered some things and packed her backpack so she could go into the forest where the fearsome monster lived by herself.

When she was ready, Sally the beautiful princess stomped over to the forest, and soon she found the fearsome monster's home.

Max the fearsome monster sat down on his couch. He lived all alone and he was really sad. So he was surprised when the beautiful princess came to visit him.

Princess Sally knocked on his door and told him that she wanted to invite him on a picnic. Max the fearsome monster didn't think she would do that. She was a princess and he was a monster. Why would she be nice to him, he thought?

Max the fearsome monster said yes. He would go on the picnic with Sally the beautiful princess.

Princess Sally learned that Max the monster was actually really nice. He was a lot nicer than the mean knights that always chased. Max told funny jokes and made her laugh.

Sally also learned that Max was really lonely all by himself. He was just trying to make friends when he scared the kingdom, but he didn't know how to do it properly.

So princess Sally decided she would show him how to be polite and how to make friends the nice way.

The beautiful princess Sally finally taught the fearsome monster Max how to be polite. It was time for them to go to the kingdom so he could make some friends.

"Don't worry, they'll love you!" Sally encouraged him.

They skipped off to the kingdom of Aliceland, and Max used his new manners to say he was sorry to everyone. The people of the kingdom forgave him and he made lots of new friends. He even taught the knights how to be nicer!

The knights were very sorry. They promised not to be mean ever again. Sally the beautiful princess and Max the not so fearsome monster were best friends.
