Let it be

Everybody were haveing fun, Brook was playing music and singing entertaining everyone, Franky was drinking cola and makeing his famous positions, Usopp was showing some of his inventions to Cobra-sama and his underlinings, Luffy and Chopper were trying to sing with sticks in their noses and mouths, Robin and Zoro were chating and drinking somewere around the fountain with Vivi and Khoza that joined the party a while ago. Nami was observing all of them from above. She was into the party for few minutes but then she went on the balcony occupied by her own thoughts. She was thinking about the scene with Luffy and her face went red instantly. She convinced herself that she did it cuz of the show. But reaction she recived from him was supriseing. Her face was now red like a boliling crab. Oh this fresh but hot air in Alabasta is not helping her.

- I thought that this charade should show me that it's impossible to fall in love with someone like Luffy. I am still not sure about that, after all he is an idiot that doesn't care about those stuff and....

- Thinking out loud navigator-san? sad Robin approaching from behind giggling. Nami jumped in place and took her weapon ready to attack with her Tunderbolt tempo but when she turned around and saw Robin she inbreath trying to calm herself down.

- You scared me there Robin. sadi Nami ignoring her question.

- Sorry for that navigator-san. said Robin and giggled. They bouth were now on the balcony looking at the people on the party downstairs in silent occupied by their own thoughts.

- This is a relaxing day for a change. Running and fighting all the time somehow made me tired. I know i should be the one that got used to it the most but I am tired from running all my life. This day is refreshing for me. I got to spend some time with you guys without being on the alert all the time. I am looking forward spending some time here. And Zoro is more and more relaxed as well, he can be sweet you know? said Robin looking at Zoro downstairs. Nami looked at her with compasion, she knew about her past. She was happy for her now.

- I agree and I am so happy about you and Zoro. sad Nami and huged her. That hug was more important for herself than for Robin, she needed it and Robin felt it.

- Something bothering you Nami? asked Robin. Nami blushed again and huged her even more. Robin is a good friend for her but she didn't want to worry her about her own doubts now when this time is so important for her.

- Everything is fine. sad Nami whispering

- You know I heard you....said Robin

- I know Robin but I don't want to bother you with that cuz my head is in a mess and I don't know what is happening and all. said Nami slowly breaking the hug

- Maybe that's the problem, you should stop thinking and listen to you heart for a change. said Robin and putted her hand on Nami's shoulder. She knew her well. Nami is the kind of person that won't show her true feelings about something that is very important to her. She heared everything about Arlong several times from Zoro and Usopp. There were two different stories but she could draw the essence from it. Nami is the kind of person that would clamp up and try to ignore everything untill somebody pushes her to the right direction.

- What do you mean? I know I am not strong like the rest of you all and I used my head to get out of all situations. said Nami

- Well, I think that you should let all you thought go and enjoy the moment that you spend with Luffy. There is something in out captain that we bouth don't know. He suprises me everyday even thou he is the same man that I met the first day. There is something hiden in him that he is not aware off. said Robin looking at Nami that looked at her confused.

- You think so too? asked Nami. She also thought that Luffy is capable of likeing someone not just like nakamas. She rememered how he kissed her back when she kissed him in the corner of his lips and than he putted his hand on her hair looking her deep in her eyes laying another kiss on her forehead. But in another second he was again that careless, idiot Luffy playing around like nothing happened.

- You know how our captan in on a slow side. He is learning everyday somethin new and now this is a situation that he has never been to. He needs some time to realize and accept this situation. And you are no different, you should also accept this situation not just for money that you are telling me and Vivi. I know you are fighting inside with those strange feelings and you cant push them away Nami. For one in you life just let it be. said Robin and hugged Nami that was looking her with tears in her eyes.

- Thank you Robin... I will try I promise but I can't promise that I will run away from those feelings if I sence that i will get hurt. said Nami leting one tear roll down her cheak.

- Great, now let's go back to the party navigator-san. said Robin offering her a comforting smile. A smal but sincere smile apreared on Namis face.

- Yosh, but let me first clean up myself and than I will catch up with you and the rest of them. said Nami while they were walking toward the party. Nami entered the bathroom that was near the exit of the palace and Robin went to join Zoro.

Nami let the water out of the tap and washed her face slowly still under the pressure of the coneversation she had with Robin. She looked at herself in the mirror seeing tortured eyes. She couldn't let Luffy and the rest of them see that.

- Luffy....she whispered and her eyes started to glow a little bit while the same butterfly feeling apreared in her stomack. She was still looking herself in the mirror and smiled to herself now looking determined.

- Let it be Nami, let it be. she told herself in the mirror and turned around.
