8-girls talk

You didn't bother to look who it was. You just sat there and read for yourself, but when the person tipped you on the shoulder you just had to look who it was. You turned your head and saw some brown eyes together with some brown hair. "Oh hey Pansy, why aren't you sleeping?" You asked her with curiosity in your voice. "I could ask you the same y/n" she said and sat down on the couch next to you. "I can't sleep." She nods understanding and pulls you into a hug. A tear escaped your eye and you tried to swish it away as fast as you could, not wanting Pansy to notice it. "And now tell me why're you down here and not up in your room sleeping peacefully?" You asked her. "I just can't get Draco off my mind. he keeps swirling around in my thoughts and it won't let me sleep." She said. She took her gaze off of the lit up fireplace and over to you.

You swallowed and thought of how you should answer her. "You should be happy when you're able to fall for someone and shouldn't think about it all the time. And most importantly it shouldn't make you sad or depressed." You answered. "But he's just not noticing me, and when he does it is in a bad way. I just don't know what to do anymore." She sighed and so did you. "Maybe you are just to clingy. Maybe you should distance yourslef from him for a little time, so he can get clear thoughts. You know what I mean, at least I hope you do." You said. she nodded and hugged you. You hugged her back and a few moments later she let go of you. "Thanks, you just always know what to say y/n and sorry again for tripping you." You forced yourself to smile a little. "Your welcome Pansy, sleep well!" She aid goodnight to you too and then went up to her dorm. You rolled your eyes after she left. *She's such an annoying little prick* You thought to yourself.

You stayed in the common room for a little longer. You were getting really tired and your eyes fell close.

"Oi y/n what are doing here?" A voice asked you. You had fallen asleep on the couch last night. You slowly sat up and rubbed your eyes. "ummm what?" You said sleepily. Then someone bend down in front of you and shook you at the shoulders. Your eyes shut open at once and you saw the grey eyes on the level of your own e/c eyes. "Draco!" You yelled at him as you finally noticed what was going on. "Shhhht it's 5am. Keep your voice down and now tell what you were doing!"

You straightened yourself a little bit and then sighed: "I wasn't able to sleep and came down here and then Pansy came down and we talked a bit, then she went up again and I stayed down here and the I guess I just fell asleep somehow." He had a worried look on his face and then layed his ands back on your shoulders. "That's not good. Why weren't you able to sleep? Did you have a nightmare? You know you can tell me right?" He asked and it sounded really serious.

"I didn't have a nightmare I don't know why I wasn't able to sleep. I just wasn't." You said avoiding eye contact. "Okay, but if something's bothering you, you can tell me you know? I'm your best friend and I'll b there for you." He says, forcing you to look at him. "And why was Pansy talking with you? I thought she was scared that little git." He added. You shook your head "She's not scared of me, she's scared of you" You said and laughed a little. "Anyways, I should probaly get up to my dorm and slowly get ready for school." He nodded and watched you as you walked up the staircase to your dorm, which you luckily didn't have to share.

You stepped into the bathroom of your dorm and let your clothing fall to the ground. You stepped into the shower and let the cold water rain down onto your body. You took your time getting showered. When you stepped out you grabbed a towel and dried yourself. You wrapped it around your hair and folded it up into a turban. You then exited the bathroom and got changed into the school uniform. You went back to the bathroom to blow dry your   h/c hair.

*Time skips, in the afternoon (you have a free period)*

"Hey y/n!" Hermione said as she catched up with you. "Hey 'Mione" You say wth a smile. "You also have a free period?" She asked you. You had to laugh a little. "Of course I do! Otherwise I wouldn't be walking to the lake without school stuff you know." She also had to laugh a little at your statement.

"I wasn't able to sleep yesterday. I went down to the common room and sat there reading. Then Pansy came and started talking to me. She complained about how she wasn't able to sleep because she was thinking of Draco and how he doesn't notices her in a good way and blah blah blah. I swear if she keeps being annoying I swear one day I'll kill her." At the last part which you said the both of you had to laugh. "You know Harry and Ron can be annoying too. It's so good I have you to talk to for some girls talk from time to time." She said. "I definitly agree with you at that point." You said and the both of you have to laugh again.

Later that day you walked into the great hall for dinner with Hermione. You separated, she went to the Gryffindor table and you went to the Slytherin table, obviously. You sat down next to Draco and across from Blaise. On the other side of Draco were his two cronies Crabbe and Goyle and opposite them was Pansy with her group of friends. "Hey how was your day y/n' I haven't seen you the whole day after lunch. Where were you?" Draco asked, facing you. You looked up into his beautiful eyes and then answered: "My day was fine and I was spending the afternoon with Hermione at the black lake. How was your day?" You asked him, but he couldn't answer because he got interrupted. "You were hanging with that mudblood?!" Pansy spat. "Shut it pug-face!" You yelled at her. Her eyes widened "Did you just call me pug-face? I thought we would be friends. You were nice to me last night! What was that?" She yelled back, her face full of anger. "It was a FUCKING ACT! You little b..." "Y/n you should go." Draco whispered as he saw the things from the tables levitate. You looked at him and then nodded. You stood up and stomped out of the great hall, everybody was looking at you. You turned around facing the hall again. "WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT!" You shouted and then walked away.

You were outside the great hall sitting on the staircase, trying to calm yourself down. The doors to the great hall opened and out came... Pansy.

"Y/n I..." She began. "Fuck off pug-face!" you yelled at her and in an instant she went back into the great hall. You sighed and dragged your heavy body down to the dungeons and into the slytherin common room. You didn't stop, you walked straight to your dorm and closed it. You let yourself fall face first onto the bed. You burried your face into the pillows. You turned around. You layed there, now facing the ceiling. You closed your eyes and let yourself drift away, sunken deep into thoughts and wishes.
