~Chapter 7~

====ALEX is the boy in the picture====

(Aria's POV)

I opened my eyes and saw a guy. It was dark inside and there was fog or smoke. I couldn't see where we were but the only thing I could see was the guys back while he was on the bed. As I walked towards I noticed he was on the bed crying and crawled up. I checked the time and it was 12:13 pm. "Why did she go! Why am I stupid!" I heard the familiar voice whimper/yell to himself.

I walked over to him and climbed onto the bed and gently pulled the guy over so I could see his face. Nyjah. "Nyjah! Look at me babe. Please look at me! I didn't want to hurt you! I fucking love you!" I said as I was suddenly being pulled away and he got smaller and smaller. "Nyjah! Please! I didn't even think anyone could like someone like me. I thought I am a waist of space with no value." Suddenly everything stops.

We were now in a different setting. We were in my living room. "Why do you think you don't matter? You seem like the most important thing right next to my family. I love you and I mean every word. You are funny, weird, loud, shy, brave, and outgoing. You are perfect just the way you are. Don't ever change." "Nyjah I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry I didn't know you cared."

Just when I was about to hug him he vanished and I was falling.

It was all a dream. It has been a month and I still haven't gone back. I did keep in touch with Nyjah and I talked with Emily on the phone often. I now go to University of California not to far from where I live and I study Photography as well as music.

I sat up and dragged myself to my closet. I grabbed my Guns N' Roses shirt,black leggings, my Vans, and put my hair in a bun. I got dressed and ran down the stairs or I would end up being late. I grabbed Nebula, my Pennyboard, and skated down the sidewalk with my bag with me.

I hoped off and walked into the gates. I walked straight into class. I saw Professor Thomas at the front on the lecture hall assigning us our assignments. It felt like forever until he actually let us work. He gave us an assignment based on what we love in life.

What do I love? I began to think about Nyjah and my life. That's the problem. I always think about myself. It took this long to realize this? I'm so selfish. I let out a sigh and got out gathering my things.

"Where do you think your going Ms. Sheckler?" I looked up at him and said "I'm sorry professor but I'm going somewhere my heart it at." He kept a straight face. "what are you doing here then? Go one and get your lover." He said smiling. "Thank you sir, I'll be back in a couple days maybe."

I walked out through the door, then the building, then through the gates. I began using my penny board and almost ran into someone. "Sorry!" I yelled at them and kept going.

I got home and packed. I got out my phone and dialed Ryan. "Hey Ryan, I'm not going to be home so don't worry. I'll be gone a couple days to do something important to me." I left a voicemail.

------------3 hours later--------------

I sat in front of Nyjah's home and got out my car. Here going nothing. I walked over to the door and took a breath but the door opened before I could knock. There stood Nyjah. His beautiful face with a smile on it.

"I'm sorry." I breathed out. "That's all you say? You left for a month and you come and just say sorry?!" Nyjah said getting worked up.

"I know I have no write to come back and beg for forgiveness but I am sorry. I'm sorry for leaving because I was stupid. I wasn't thinking Nyjah. I got caught up in the moment. I was being selfish and stupid again and I never think of others and it took me a month to realize that and I can't be more stupid right now."

"I know you hate me right now and I don't know when you can't hate me. I left you when you needed someone the most and I hope you and Alex are doing great and gosh I'm rambling. I'm so sorry."

He starred at me with a blank stare and did something I didn't expect. He hugged me. I left my shirt get wet. "I love you Aria. Not Emily. Yes she's the mother of my son but I didn't love her. I never did. Plus she has a boyfriend." I looks up and noticed I was crying. "I love you too and I am truly am sorry." He looked into my eyes and said "stop apologizing, it's the past." I nodded and kissed him.

------an hour later-------

Nyjah, Emily, Alex, and I were talking but mostly Emily and I. "I'm sorry for judging you so quickly. I have trust issues and I get insecure really quick."
"Don't be harsh on your self. In order for someone to forgive you, you have to forgive yourself." I smiled at her and hugged her. "That was deep." Nyjah said chucking.

I let go and rolled my eyes. "Way to ruin the moment." We were talking again when I heard a phone ring. "It's mine." Nyjah said. I nodded and I continued to talk to Emily. "Hey Ryan, yeah she's here." A pause. "Yeah." Pause. "Mmhmm." Pause. "Alright bye."

"That was your brother, he knows your here." I smiled at him and FaceTimed Ryan. When he answered I smiled at him. "hey Ryan, yes I didn't get kidnapped." " I just called to confirm."
"Awe, you care!" He rolled his eyes. "I got to go Ari, I have an interview. Call me if you need me." "Bye Ryan!" I said before he hung up.

I looked up and saw Emily left and that leaves Nyjah, Alex and I. "So Alex, what do you like?" He looked up and looked confused. "Candy, Cars, ice cream, oh yeah and dogs." I smiled at him. "Me too! Maybe we could go shopping for cars!" I said smiling at him. I might as well take him to Toys R Us. "Is that okay with you?" He smiled and husbands widened. "Please daddy?!" He nodded and then he said "go ask your mom." To Alex. He nodded and ran up the stairs, well climbed.

"At least your making an effort." Nyjah said and kissed me forehead. "Don't think this is only for you, he seems like he needs a friend." I said when Alex came back downstairs. "Mommy said yes!" He said with his shoes and jacket in his arms, Struggling. Emily came down the stairs and said "careful with him, he gets wild at the store." I nodded and said "who doesn't."

------at the store-----

I was with the store with Nyjah and Alex because Alex wanted him dad to come. Obviously I couldn't say no to him. "So Alex, let's go!" I said and grabbed him. I walked to the cars section and set him down. He immediately ran to the biggest car there and played with it.

"So I'm guessing you like that car." "yes, can I get it Ari?" I nodded and I got the toy and his hand in mine. "Let's go to the candy store!" I said and he immediately smiled. "Yay!"

-------at the candy store------

"I want sour patch kids!" He said smiling. His eyes full of joy and excitement. "Oooo chocolate too!"
I smiled at him and nodded. "YAY!"
After we got our candy, we sat at a booth and ate some candy and talking about anything really.

"So your with my daddy?" Alex asked confused. We both nodded after looking at each other. "Yay! My daddy's happy now! He use to be sad. He didn't know but I am smart." Alex whispered into my ear. I looked at him and hugged him. He's really an amazing kid. I wish one day in the future, I could have a kid like Alex.

"Hey we should get going, it's already 5:45." Way to ruin the moment Nyjah. I nodded and helped Alex get out of the booth and we walked to my car. I put him in his booster seat, closed the door, and got into my seat. I drove to Nyajh's home and all the lights were off. "EMILY?!" "WHAT!??" She yelled back. "WERE BACK!!!" "OKAY! STOP YELLING!" I smiled and went into the kitchen to get a glass of water.
