3 WEEKS LATER:
Dear Paul,
Hey, it's me. Rita Smith, hehe. Please, don't tell John or even SHOW John I'm writing to you. How is Germany going for ya? I truly hope you guys make it far!
I'm no living with Ringo, ya know, Ritchie, Richard Starkey? He plays drums for that Rory band. He's been such a sweetheart to me and Linda.
But there is some news I must inform you, and I swear, do NOT tell John. In fact, keep this letter near so he does not read it. I know he'd be tempted too.
The news is.. I'm pregnant! I don't want John to know, I don't need him in the baby's life. He has a dream, I don't dare want to ruin that. I hope John is doing fine and he moves on, meet a lovely girl in Germany. I say that as if I don't love him, but that's a lie. I deeply love him... It pains me, honestly..I...
I better go, talking about this is causing me to chock up, I'm sorry.
Tell the others, (NOT JOHN), that I said "Hi!"
Hope all is well.
Love,
Rita Smith xxx
I sighed, sealing up my letter.
Ringo knocked on the door, I quickly wiped my tears.
"Rita? Darling, are you alright?" Ringo asked, walking closer to me.
I turned around, facing Ringo, "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine" I lied.
Ringo held onto my hands, "Come on, love. Tell me" He gently said.
I sighed, "I got finished writing a letter to the boys, it's just hard, you know?" I said.
Ringo sighed, "I know it is, love. Things will get better" Ringo smiled at me sympathetically, kissing my hands.
I smirked, "Thanks, Ringo."
Ringo smiled at me, "Anytime"
His smile slowly disappeared.
"The question now is, are you alright?" I chuckled slightly.
Ringo shrugged, "It's hard to say, Rita.."
I tilted my head, "Spit it"
He sighed, "I know you just broke up with John, and I know you're pregnant.. But I would love to take a step up, a-as a father and, and-"
"Ringo.." I sighed.
"Please, Rita... I've liked ye since the day I met you, I'll do everything I can for you, I'll get a job. I'll never leave you or treat you badly, Rita. I promise." Ringo caressed my face, wiping the single tear that fell.
I gulped, "Ringo.." I whispered, looking down.
I looked back up at him, blushing.
"You're too beautiful to be hurt.." He whispered.
I smirked.
"Please, Rita.." Ringo said.
I stared into his blue eyes, smiling slightly, "Alright, Ringo" I softly said.
His face brightened up, as he pulled me in for a tight hug.
I chuckled, Didn't think a young man would be so happy for this...
"I'm not an average man" Ringo laughed.
My face heated up.
Ringo chuckled, looking at me.
"We'll be fine" Ringo whispered, placing one hand on my stomach.
I smirked, looking down.
Ringo lifted my chin, so we made eye contact.
Ringo leaned in and kissed my lips.
I closed my eyes, treasuring this moment. His lips formed perfectly onto mine, I started smiling.
As he broke the kiss, I smirked at him, feeling my face heat up more.
Ringo smiled at me.
Linda ran into the room, "Come on, Mummy! Let's blow the candles!" She cheered.
I giggled, taking Ringo's hand and walked out the bedroom, going down the stairs.
Elsie, Ringo and I held hands as Linda was close to the cake.
"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday, dear Linda! Happy birthday to you!" We sang.
Linda smiled widely as she closed her eyes and blew the candles out.
We cheered in glee.
I picked Linda up, kissing her face.
"Happy 4th birthday, Linda!" I smiled at her.
She giggled, holding onto me tightly.
Ringo walked towards me, "You sing lovely" He whispered in my ear, causing me to blush.
"Let's have some cake, Mummy!" Linda said.
I smiled, putting her down, "Alright, darling"
Elsie handed Linda and I a piece of cake.
"Thank you, Elsie" I smiled at her.
Elsie smirked, "Please, call me mum!" She laughed.
I chuckled, "Alright, mum"
I followed Linda towards the table outdoors, as we sat down next to Ringo, eating our cake.
"Your mum made this?" I asked.
Ringo smiled, "Yeah, good isn't it?"
I smiled, "She's a great cook"
Ringo smirked, "Do you cook?"
I nodded, "I had to learn, you know" I softly said, eyeing at Linda.
Ringo looked my direction, nodding, then looked back at me.
"I understand" He softly said.
I laughed as I saw cake all over Linda's face.
She spotted me staring at her, and she started laughing hysterically.
My laughter grew with Linda's, and soon Ringo joined to.
"Her laughter brightens me" I softly said to Ringo.
He smiled at me, "Pretty soon, you'll have two babies to make your day brighter" He squeezed my hand.
I smiled at him, "I know, Aren't I lucky?" I laughed.
Ringo chuckled.
I haven't been this happy for such a long time. I think Ringo and I will do just fine with the kids.
Just the two of us.
