The people I saw were the people of past and future. They were spirits. Nobody else could see them. Sometimes I could hear them, but not always. They would do things from the future that would eventually happen. It was like deja vu in a way.
I often saw people and scenes they were doing. Scott and Brinese were at my house hovering around. They used to ride through the prairie our house was built on until one day they were held up by some men and killed. Now their ghosts remain in our house.
Other people I see are different every time.
At school I saw a little girl on the swing. Another child almost sat on her.
"Stop!" I declared, " You can't sit on that girl." The girl looked down and laughed.
" There is nobody there!" She.giggled with her friends.
She sat on the ghost and quickly felt a sharp pain.
"OUCH! WHY DID YOU HIT ME?" She screamed.
"I didn't touch you," I stuttered
She yelled a little than ran into the school.house.
"I'm sorry," I whispered to the ghost girl. She shred away.
"I did try to warn her." Suddenly the girl disappeared. I got up and turned around. All the students at my school were laughing and shouting freak and weirdo.
I ran through the woods behind the school. I stopped to catch my breath when I heard cracking twigs.
"Who's there?" I grasped a near by stick.
"Its me, Matt!" Matt exclaimed.
"Oh you startled me. why are you out here."
"Well I felt bad, Ms. Gecko is about to start class and we can't be gone. She'll be furious."
"I can't go back there, I'll get made fun of. I'm going to stay in the woods, go back and tell my ma ill be home by supper and do my. chores than."
Matt ran back to school with no argument.
When he returned he told Ms. Gecko that I ran off and couldn't be found. She panicked, and had a stern talk with all the kids.
At the end of the day Ms. Gecko went throughout the woods to find me. Matt ran home and told my ma what happened.
She dropped the eggs in her basket and ran to the mill where she told my father.
They both ran to the school.
Finally Ms. Gecko found me on a log.
" REBECCA! COME OVER THIS INSTANCE! DONT YOU EVER LEAVE AGAIN!" I ran over to her and she pulled me in for a hug.
" Let's get you home, I'm sure your parents are worried sick."
Once we got to the school yard my parents were just running in. I ran over crying and apologizing.
"May we conference Mr and Mrs Creanfeild." My parents nodded and went inside.
"Stay here." My ma said. I knew it was bad if I couldn't go in.
