Melody's POV
I just crossed the County line I'm now in Hazzard I have heard of this place and I've always wanted to come here since I heard nice things about it anyway I was driving through these back lanes when my car broke down I sighed and got out and grabbed my bag with my stuff in. I was outside an old looking shed and the door opened and out walked a little fat guy wearing all white and a sheriff next to him he didn't look happy.
???: how much did you hear?
Melody: nothing
???: she's lying ...... Rasco arrest her for trespassing
Melody: I didn't hear anything I swear
???: I don't believe her
???: me either
???: well arrest her
I ran once he was out of sight I walked along the roads when I saw a truck the drivers got out and I quietly got in the back of the truck hoping that they wouldn't find me here but knowing my luck it they will find me.

Luke's POV
I'm following Bo since it's coming up for the bike race and Bo has entered in so I said I will help him and keep an eye of him when we heard sirens and it was Rasco like usual so Bo hid the bike and I hid the truck but it failed since Rasco found us.
Rasco: alright you Dukes I know you put that lady up to spy on me and Boss
Luke: Rasco are you okay? We don't know who this "lady" is and why are you blaming us
Bo: the last one isn't strange
Luke: *nods in agreement*
Rasco: I'll catch that girl
Then he got in his car and drove off I looked at Bo.
Bo: what was he on about?
Luke: don't know
Bo: it's Rasco
Luke: come on let's go back to the farm
Bo: I'll put the bike in the back
Luke: okay
We walked to the back of the truck and opened up and a girl was sitting in there she looked confused and a little scared.
Luke: what's wrong?
???: my car broke down and I heard that sheriff was close and I had no where to go so I came here
Luke: Rasco again
Bo: what's your name?
???: I'm Melody Lee
Luke: well I'm Luke Duke and this is *points to Bo* my cousin Bo
Melody: *gives a small smile*
Bo: so what happened?
Luke: why does Rasco want you?
Melody: I don't know I just walked past this old looking shed and then the sheriff and a little fat man wearing all white kept asking me questions and then the guy in white told the sheriff to arrest me for trespassing.
Bo: it's okay we're here for you
Luke: what else did Boss say?
Melody: well he also said that he didn't believe me when I said I didn't hear a thing then the sheriff just chased me I finally lost him.
Luke: well we'll help you with Boss and Rasco Melody
Melody: really? But you've just met me
Luke: it's who we are
Bo: yeah we were brought up to help people in need
Luke: we better go back to the farm
Bo: yeah you're right Uncle Jesse will be wondering where we are
Luke: I think it will be safe if you stayed in the back Melody since knowing Boss he won't give up he'll get Enos to look for you.
Melody nodded and sat in the back and I closed up but before I did I told her:
Luke: don't worry Melody you're safe with us
She gave a small smile.
Melody: thanks Luke
Luke: *smiles*
Then I closed the door and I got in the drivers seat and drove off back to the farm when I heard sirens I saw it was Enos and he made us pull over.
Luke: what's wrong Enos?
Enos: well the sheriff has asked me to check your vehicle because he thinks that you're hiding a criminal.
Luke: Enos do you think we will ever do that?
Enos: no I don't but I have to do my job
We walked to the back of the truck and I opened the door and Enos looked around.
Enos: I'll tell the sheriff that your..... *sees a bag* wait a minutes who does that bag belong to?
Bo: it's Daisy's Enos
Enos: oh
Bo: yeah and Enos we would never lie to you
Enos: I guess
Luke: bye Enos
Enos: bye fellas
Bo: bye Enos
He got in his car and drove off once he was out of sight we were confused.
Luke: how did Melody get out?
Bo: where is she?
I then saw a hand and Melody got out and she smiled.
Luke: that was close
Melody nodded and got back in the truck and I closed the door again and got in the drivers seat again and carried on driving back to the farm.

Melody's PoV
I heard a different voice and I'm guessing it's someone from the law so I hid and I accidentally left my bag but luckily Bo saved me.
I heard a car engine start and fade off in the distance I climbed out from my hiding spot then I got back in the truck and Luke closed the door again.

I feel sorry for Melody she comes to Hazzard and gets blamed for something she didn't do on her first day here.
