two months later

"HEY. How you doing?" Dylan asked.

"I'm a little tired," Isabella said, "Artemis kept me up most of the night."

"I'm sorry. I told you I could stay to help you out." He said, kissing her cheek lightly.

"I didn't think I would need it. Does the offer still stand? Do you mind staying tonight to  help me?" Isabella asked.

"I'll stay for however long you need me to."

"You're a life saver." Isabella said.

"So I've been told." Dylan smiled.

He sat down next to Isabella on her bed, bumping her shoulder with his. She smiled at the action and laid her back on her bed. She let out a laugh and dragged her hand down her face.

"I'm lacking a lot of sleep." She said.

"I can tell."

"Shut up," she said, "I can get over her eyes. You know I'm so glad Artemis got your eyes."

"Why?" He asked.

"You're seriously asking that? Your eyes are gorgeous," Isabella told, "Everyone loves your eyes."

"Maybe, but she got everything else from you." Dylan said.

"Not everything."

"Mostly everything," he say, "We made a beautiful kid."

"Yeah, we did."
