two years later
"SO I hear Dylan is taking you out tonight." Kara said.
"Uh yeah. Not really sure where. He didn't tell me." Isabella shrugged.
"You think he's finally gonna do it?" Alexandra asked.
"Do what?"
"Propose!"
"What? Why would he propose?" Isabella questioned.
"Maybe because you guys have been dating for almost three years! You don't think he'll pop the question?" Alexandra asked.
"No. I mean, we haven't even talked about marriage. Our focus right now has been Artemis and my career. It's been difficult to think about anything else." Isabella told.
"So you don't think that taking you out, a few days after your anniversary, after dating for years, is a bit suspicious?" Kara asked.
"No. I don't"

The night was chilly, but it was so peaceful. It was a late night in July, and Isabella walked next Dylan, hand in hand. They walked by a gorgeous park with a fountain right in the middle. There were barely people around, and the only thing that could be heard was the splashing of the water. Her mind was clear except for one thing.
Marriage.
Isabella couldn't help but think about the conversation she had earlier with Kara and Alexandra.
Did she want to get married?
Well of course she did, but did Dylan? Did Dylan want to marry her someday? Did it ever cross his mind? What if he didn't?
"Hey, you okay?" Dylan asked her.
"Huh? Yeah why?"
"You seem distracted."
"Oh I'm just thinking," she told.
"About?" He questioned.
"Oh it's nothing important," she said.
"Well I think you're lying," he said.
"What? Why would I lie?"
"I don't know. You tell me."
"It's nothing," she said. "Really. Just a thought."
"Alright then," he said. "Follow me. I want to show you something."
Dylan led her to a more secluded part of the park. The trees were closer together, and they seemed to be forming the beginning of a forest. She could make out a dim light in the direction Dylan was taking her.
At the end, Dylan led her to a beautiful lake with colorful flowers around it and dim lanterns surrounding them. Isabella was so mesmerized by the view she didn't feel Dylan shuffling behind her. He let out a cough to get her attention, and when she turned she found him on the ground.
He was on one knee with a ring in his hand.
"Isabella, the first time I saw you, you instantly put me under your spell. I remembered thinking about how you beautiful you looked, and I couldn't stop staring at you from across the club. And although that night resulted in something unplanned, I wouldn't change a thing. Throughout these three years, you have shown me what is means to be strong, kind, and incredibly extraordinary. You taught me how to love, which was something I have never felt before. Isabella, you and Artemis bring out the best side of me. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want you to be my wife. So, Isabella. Will you make me the happiest man on earth?
Will you marry me?"
