<> Chapter Two <>

" (Y/n) ! (Y/n) ! " The smith twins came running.

" Woah " I caught one of the boys.

" King Dream wants you " Charles threw his hands in the air.

" For what ?" I asked.

" The report " Ryan answered.

" Alright take me to him " I smiled.

" Lets go ~" Charles charmed in a pitched voice.

I metallie sighed and facepalmed. Yes I am a Valkyrie in this town and I could have quite and left this town but I can't just the one reason. My family lived here even if I could visit I still can't for a unknown reason. I hate this king , king Dream. The grown adult skeleton almost , still acts like a hyper , all positive kid that lives in the world of kittens and rainbows. I wished his older brother was king instead , if he didn't run away when we were young the kingdom would have probably prospered and grown a lot more. I don't get why he needs us guardians to protect this little town of ours there is nothing to protect it from , the only bad guys are just bullies and wild animals that is literally all not much use for us.

" You summoned me m'lord " I walked in.

" Yes , I need that report on the town! " Dream had stars in his eyes.

" Nothing much , everything was peaceful " I sighed.

" That's good to hear !" Dream smiled.

" Anything more for me to do ?" I asked.

I want to ask him so bad , what happened to Nightmare ? Why isn't he the king ? He is the older one of the dream brothers. Dream is lucky I patience with his loud , hyper , loves to yell as a normal voice self for years. He is so annoying I need a break from him sooner or later.

" You could patrol the south side of the town till' afternoon !" Dream smiled positively.

" Gotcha " With that I left to the south exit.

" Hey Madeline " I waved.

" So your taking the shift ?" Madeline asked sitting on the stump.

" Yeah apparently " I shrugged.

" Those questions again " Madeline guessed.

" Yeah " I sighed.

" You know the answer to those , have fun " Madeline left.

" Yeah " I rolled my eyes and sighed.

I shifted into my wolf the warm sun hitting my white and cream fur making it look like a fluffy haze as I took off into the lush green forest. Jumping over deep brown logs and crystal blue streams going threw the grassy path way. Stopping at a little clearing in the birch forest here and there little white daisy's grew in the patch on sunlight beams through the leaf tops. On the other side there was no light going threw the leaves , the ground covered in a soft grey mist , grass was a dark green shade , and the tree bark was all laced with black dark shadows consuming the whole thing.

" Is this why Dream doesn't let us in the forest ?" I asked taking a step closer turning back into my human self.

" (Y/n) ! (Y/n) ! Come out !" Madeline yelled.

" Coming !" I responded looking back at the dark forest once more leaving noticing a blue eye in the shadows fade into the shadows of the forest. 'Who was that ?'.

A/n: Sorry for the short chapters I don't know much about Dreamtale really all I know is from what I read and watched. I'm sorry if it also bad for those fans out there this is my first book that I have published that isn't a assiment.
