Chp 5: "Domestic Violence"

Sergeant Duane, having renounced leadership of the hospital, While Duane is walking outside in the garden, he notices several feeders have accumulated outside the hospital. David approaches him and notices that one of the children is ill. David admits he does not know why the child is ill and decides to investigate further. Meanwhile, a group of three survivors; Levi, Larissa and Natalie come across the hospital while fleeing a horde of feeders, the guards opens the doors and let's them into the hospital. They make their way inside, discovering that Natalie has been bitten by a feeder. Levi stabs her head with a dagger to prevent her reanimating. Duane keeps the newcomers locked in a room for safekeeping, a move Levi understands and accepts. After lunch Duane took David to a hospital room to see the new survivors and David was overwhelmed to see his daring badass brother again. David got Duane to let Levi and his girlfriend Larissa to be released and shows them around the hospital, Levi was overwhelmed to see his sister in law, Marian, and his niece Alyssa as he hugs her and smiles at Marian. He asks David where is Jamie and David replies that she's dead from a feeder attack and than later took Levi to the grave of Jamie. At dinner, Levi tells David that he and Larissa talked and they decide to join the community. David was overwhelmed to hear that from his brother and after dinner he goes and tells Duane and Duane agrees to accept the new survivors. David gives and shows them to their room. Larissa says thanks to David and he replies; your welcome that is what family is for. Than David goes back to his room to see his family. That night another child  got sick and David went to the lab area to exam the child that is ill. David gives the child a vitamin and some water, a few hours later David finds out that the child is not ill anymore and than does the samething to the other sick children that were alive to heal them. Later some national guards returns and delivers a message to sergeant Duane, saying that Red Crow community declares war. Duane plans to have a meeting with the council members about the message from Red Crow.
