“Am I doing it right?” I would have asked this question to myself for like thousands of times and asked the same questions to my friends another thousand of times. So you couldn’t blame them if they are angry or irritated or whatever.

“Arnav, mere raja, kitni baar yehi sawal poochta rahega? Meri kaan mein yehi sawal char din se ghoonj rahi hain yaar. Ab toh chup karde” NK pleaded ever so hilariously with a crying face and pleading look. I have to give it to him he’s the joker of our group!

“Arnav, go with it man. Everything you’re doing is fine!” Akash assured me. But still I felt the assurance blacking out. Is it right?

“Arnav, just don’t give this a second thought. We know you never really had a serious relationship with that woman who claimed to own you for 6 months. Urghhhh!" She clenched her hands in irritation. "But now when you seriously want to be in one, why are you even hesitating?” I pondered on her valid question.

It surely is something more to think on. And if I wander around her question, I easily guessed she’s right. I gave away the right of being my girl friend to Sheetal just to keep the rumors and the never ending nagging of girls to rest. But now I want my angel to be the person to claim me. Then where is the problem with? That’s it this just mere thought cleared all my doubts.

“Payal you’re awesome!” I exclaimed happily, giving her a quick hug and rushing out of NK’s dorm leaving behind all my startled friends. A chuckle left my lips thinking of their stunned expressions.

I raced down my black SUV to her hostel. I really don’t understand why she couldn’t stay in our college dorm like NK, Payal, Lavanya and Revansh. I mean she would be getting peer support and help too when she needs. But she stays in a small private hostel which is just 15 minutes away from our college. Maybe she wanted to save money. Well yeah, that would give me some explanation as I know Khushi here is studying on scholarship. I must say our college is a **** in collecting fees from us.

Reaching her hostel in the said time I picked her up from there and set our journey to the beauty parlor. It is one of the parlors that Di always used to visit and it’s one of her friends.

Don’t try hard and wonder how I would know. I have been assigned as an unpaid body guard for her when she has to go out. And most of the times she would drag me here. God!! Girls & fashion bang your head but you wouldn’t understand them and their tastes. In my own talking’s we soon reached the place I mentioned.

“Hey guys come here” I gave a shout out to the attendants there. I should be obvious by now that I know some of them here. Why not?

I took them away from Khushi, lest it have to be a secret until she sees herself after the makeover I’m hinting to. But I should have known it’s useless to some extent as Khushi herself zoned out, making it possible for me to do it secretly.

“She’s my friend and my date for the prom party” I started looking around if all of them were listening. I smiled when I realized they were and then glanced at Khushi only to know that she’s still zoned out. This girl is crazy!

“So the thing is, I wanted a makeover for her. Remember, makeover shouldn’t be out of place. It should just bring herself out. No overt makeup, no extra smudging, no dark colors should be used for the lipstick and yes remember leave her hair loose, don’t tie it up, please” I pleaded literally. I just feel that her hair looks better when left loose than tied up or braided like she does almost all time.

When I saw the reactions of the concerned attendees I could do nothing but have to stifle a laugh. Their reactions were too hilarious to not laugh at. They almost had their mouths agape. Well they wouldn’t have thought a man to have these many tastes, will they? Why, I would want to make my angel actually look like an angel, for others. Or rather they don’t know the selected designer in me, who wants everything perfect.
