Three weeks later, Houston and I's relationship escalated slowly, but it got to the point where we were always snuggling and kissing where ever we were. I even introduced him to my family. It went nice, we had a great dinner, watched a movie as a family-- no Napoleon Dynamite, of course. And we had the rest of the days to spend together.
It's September now, and we only have about three weeks until school starts up again. I really don't want it to, though. I want to spend the rest of my life just sitting here, or at the hideout, with my boy friend and my friends.
"You ready for school?" Houston asks. I look at him and laugh.
"Of course not." he nods.
"It seems so boring now. Summer isn't even fun anymore when you think about school coming." he says, and now I'm the one nodding.
His face lights up, meaning he has an idea. I've became familiar and have recognized that face.
"Why don't I take you on a date?"
I look at him suspiciously, and then I nod.
"I'd love to go on a date with the Houston Meredith."

I got myself all fixed up, because believe it or not, this date means a lot to me.
I throw on a dark blue dress with a black belt and some small heeled shoes. It may seem a little fancy, but I like it, and I think Houston will too.
I don't know where he is taking me, and I haven't asked either. I want to be surprised. He said he'd pick me up around eight, so I got dressed as quickly as I could. I didn't tell the girls about it, because not only would they freak out about it, but they would complain to their boy friend's about taking them on dates.
And I certainly didn't want to be blamed for that.
I finished putting on mascara and lip stick, which I usually don't put on, and head out the door. I look at my phone and gasp. Its 8:01.
I patted my hair down just a little bit before I saw Houston pull up in his own car. I smile as gets out of his car, and then walks up to me. I must look like an idiot, just standing here, but I can't fix it so.
Yeah.
"You look absolutely gorgeous, Sierra." he says, making me blush.
"Well, you look absolutely devilish," I tease, in a good way. He laughs, and we start walking to his car. He opens the door for me, and that makes me blush even more. And you know what makes me blush even more? How well he cleaned up.
He wears a tuxedo, no bow tie thank god, and some incredibly fancy shoes.
"Where are we going?" I finally ask, smiling a little.
"You'll see."
I really hate when people say that, but what ever floats their boat. I sit back in the passenger seat, calmly. I don't say anything, because the silence actually feels nice. If I opened my mouth, I'd bet I would say something really energetic and happy, and maybe even annoying.
But I keep my mouth closed for majority of the ride, until he says something.
"You know, I've never done this before. I'm sorry if it seems awkward."
