As I'm sitting in the kitchen with geo eating double stuffed Oreos I was thinking about how we were planning on going to the mall later today but we don't have a ride there.

"How are we gonna get to the mall? we have no ride"

"I'll just ask will to take us" I don't know why but I was really excited when she said that. Am I thinking of Jimmy? No. That's crazy, I haven't even met the kid. Whatever it's probably me just overthinking.

G pulled out her phone and texted her brother and asked him to give us a ride.

"Will said he'd take us but he has his friend in the car with him so just don't be weird"

" yeah like I'm the weird one" as I said that sentence the first thought that raced through my mind was 'what if Jimmy is in the car, fuck I look like shit.' I couldn't tell Georgia because she'd think I'm acting crazy, which I mean I really am. I don't know what's going on with me. The second me and GG finished the Oreos her brother texted her 'I'm here, come out. I'm not waiting for you' I was so nervous to get in the car. I didn't want to know if Jimmy was the friend he was with or not.

The second we sat in the car an overwhelming smell of mango and mint Juul pods filled my nose with delight, I looked over to the passenger seat of the front and just as I thought, there he was. Jimmy was sitting on his phone scrolling through his Spotify playlist with a blue Juul in his left hand. The car ride over was thankfully pretty silent the whole time besides the music that Will was blasting on the way. Once we pulled up to the mall G opened her door first and got out.

"bye Will, bye jimmyyyy." G says to the boys as she shuts the door leaving just me and the guys in the car. Neither of them said bye but Will gave her the death stare then flipped her off as jimmy laughed to himself.

" uh bye, thanks for the ride guys." I said as I opened the door to get out. Will just mumbled a slight goodbye as Jimmy looked up from his phone and said

"see ya girls" with a smirk on his face. When he said that my face went red. I shut the door and look back at the car as it drove off. Why did he smirk? I know that its nothing though, it's not like he was flirting with an 8th grader, right?
