three months later
jeno broke out into a run once he realized how late it was.
he was supposed to meet renjun for their date ten minutes ago !
once he had arrived at the cafe they were meeting at, jeno apologized to renjun maybe a thousand times.
renjun just laughed and assured it was fine.
after talking for some time now, renjun brought up a question that contained a name that jeno hadn't thought of in a while.
"hey jeno ? um..am i allowed to ask who jaemin is ?"
jaemin ? who ? oh him..right.
"yeah of course."
"ok cool. umm..well who is he first of all ? i always hear the other guys talking about him."
"he's one of our friends. or used to be. he's in america right now doing some foreign exchange student program thing."
"oh, like how i am ?"
"yep."
renjun smiled and asked one more question.
"did anything ever happen with jaemin ?"
jeno had to think for longer than she should've.
"um....oh right. we dated for a little bit. that's long gone now though."
except, it was long ago at all.
renjun smiled wider and took jenos hand in his.
"so....if i asked you to be my boyfriend..that's alright ?"
now jeno was the one smiling.
"of course. and i'd be more than happy to be your boyfriend."
