"um..who's renjun ?"
jaemin started out with.
jeno froze instantly.
"o-oh..renjun ? just this guy that that transferred here a little after you left."
jaemin just nodded.
"and you are dating him ?"
jenos heart was about to beat out of his chest.
he sighed. what was the point in trying to lie anymore ?
"i uh-"
"so which one of us are you lying to ?"
there was a heavy silence after that.
jaemin laughed out of pity for himself.
"never mind. you don't have to answer that. i think we both already know the answer. and since you clearly don't have the guts to break up with me, i'll do it. jeno, we're done."
jaemin turned and was about to leave. then he heard jeno call his name.
"what ?"
"i...."
jeno tried to speak, but could not find the words.
"jeno, tell me now. did you ever really love me ? or was it all pretend ?"
