It was Good while it lasted

Liam's POV:
I'm going over to jades flat to hang out with her and our friends.

I rang the doorbell and the most beautiful girl in the world answered.

I'd managed to avoid her for years but now here I am face to face with her.

She was my true love, I believe.

I've been in love with three people in my life....her, Sophia and Cheryl.

But I never loved the other two more than my first true love, Danielle.

She looked stunning.

"Hi Dani" I awkwardly rubbing my neck.

"Hey liam" she replied in her lovely voice.

"You look...great" I complimented her.

"Thank you" she blushed. "You look great to"

"Come in" She stepped aside.

I walked into the kitchen where Louis, jesy, jade and Leigh are.

"Oh my gosh I'm sorry I forgot you two were...you know...I hope your not-"Jade panicked looking at us remembering we were exes.

"Mad? Nah where fine. We are friends so we're good" Danielle flashed her breathtaking smile to me.

"Yep" I simply replied smiling.

"Good" jade relaxed.

"Where's everyone else?' I asked.

"On their way" louis replied not looking up from his computer.

Soon after, Perrie, harry, zayn, Niall, lucy, Eleanor, Jake, alex and Andre arrived.

"Guys have any of you seen Ben I haven't seen or heard from him today?"Jade asked getting a little bit worried.

We all replied no so she text him.

After a few minutes her phone buzzed and everyone looked at her.

She read for a few seconds and then started full on crying.

"Baba what's wrong?" Perrie comforted her.

Jade handed Perrie the phone and Perrie read out loud;

"It's a text from Ben it says; Hi I'm sorry but I can't do this anymore. It was good while it lasted. Don't call or text me or speak to me ever again. Goodbye jade."

Everyone sat there shocked and speechless until I spoke up in a rage.

"I'm gonna kill that bastard how dare he!" I stood up shouting.

"Liam don't, he's not worth it! Let's just comfort jade for now" Danielle stood up and stopped me.

I sat down and looked around at everyone else who's blood was boiling.

"I've known Ben since 2011 when we were 16 training for Arsenal and we have been best mates since then. He moved to Leeds then liverpool after 3 years and then I followed him. Something isn't right. He love you so much." Alex scratched his head.

"Yeah I'll tell you what's wrong! His fucking brain for leaving jade!" Zayn shouted.

Jade just cried for the rest of the night so we all had a sleepover and comforted her.

We all went to watch Alex train the next morning hoping to see Ben so we could basically just hurt him.

We've just arrived at a field and everyone jumped out and walked towards the dressing room.

We bumped into Adam lallana and what he told us shocked us.

"Hey Alex did you hear the news?!" He asked us all shocked.

"No what about?" Alex replied puzzled.

"Ben. He has put in a transfer request. Apparently some club put in an offer straight after and the club accepted. He's left liverpool man." Adam said on the verge of tears.

What on earth is going on? He leaves his girlfriend and his club with all of his best mates in one day!

"That's just weird" Andre mumbles.

We all agreed and went home after training.

3 months later....
Me and Danielle got back together 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier.

Niall is confused about what is going on between him and Lucy because he hasn't heard from her in a couple month.

Jade is still torn apart over ben but we're all helping her.

He hasn't been active on social media and nobody has seen or heard from him.

It's now jades birthday and we decided to throw a small gathering of close small friends.

It's 7pm and for the first time in a while jade is smiling at us all laughing and joking with each other.

She looks at her phone and her smile disappears.

"What's up?" Dani asks.

"Ben just text me." She replied confused.

"What did that asshole have to say." Jake replied angry.

"He said; happy birthday. Hope you forgot about me and aren't hurt anymore. Also hope you had a good day x." She read out.

"One minute he says he doesn't like you anymore and now he's being nice texting you happy birthday?" Leigh says.

I went on my phone while everyone carried on talking.

I came across a post Ben had posted.

"Guys" I said get to get there attention.

"Bens just posted a picture of him with a girl, but not any girl...Lucy. And he captioned it 'my love'." I said showing them my phone.

Jade broke down again. And niall rang Lucy and ended things after shouting at her.

We just comforted her all day.

Today is the 27th of December meaning there's a premier league match.

We all went to watch Liverpool play Manchester City.

Ben doesn't play for Liverpool anymore so he won't be here he'll be playing for whatever team he plays for now.

We saw Alex walk out onto the pitch with Liverpool.

Then Manchester City walked out.

I got the biggest shock of all looking at who was a part of the team.

It was Ben stood their with his teammates.

He hadn't seen any of us so was acting natural.

I looked at everyone and they all looked equally as shocked as me.

I then looked at alex on the pitch who was staring at Ben wide-eyed.

The game ended at 1-1 and Ben still hadn't seen any of us, accept alex of course because they were playing on the same pitch.

We all walked down to the pitch to greet Alex. 

"Good game, shame didn't win" jesy said.

"Have you seen him" alex whispered to us all.

"Yes unfortunately" dani replied for us all.

The players were still shaking each other's hands.

A man in a Manchester City kit was walking backwards towards us so he couldn't see us.

He bumped into alex and said;

"Sorry mate" he turned around but was shocked to see alex and the rest of us there.

"Oh....hi guys" he said very awkwardly. I can't believe It's Ben...

His eyes then shooted over to jades watery ones.....
