Told you this is my fault
Look me in the eyeball
Next time I'm pissed
I'll aim my fist
At the dry wall
Next time
There will be no next time
I apologize
Even though I know it's lies
I'm tired of the games
I just want her back
I know I'm a liar
If she ever tries to f***ing leave again
I'm a tie her to the bed
And set this house on fire~.~
You stared thoughtlessly out the front window of Erik's car.
Everything that had occurred in the past 48 hours had happened too fast. The freedom you had felt amazing at first. You were looking forward to finding a great job, moving into a new home and although your plan to be single for a while completely backfired after meeting Michael, you didn't mind at all. It reminded you of how you felt when you left home for college for the first time.
Now it was all over and ruined because of him.
Michael tried to text you throughout the day. He asked if you had eaten yet and when you didn't respond he texted you again. Eventually, you had to block him because you felt bad and Erik was going to make you sooner or later. You never got a chance to say goodbye to Cookie, Sarah, and Elena. You would have to respond to your friends at some point, and when you did, what would you say? Sorry girls, false alarm. Or maybe, SIKE, it was a prank that I found on Instagram! I got y'all good. Nah, that's daddy right there.
You just knew that you were in for it once you had gotten home.
Erik was obviously elated to get you back. He was prepared to take you by force if he had to and was relieved when you came with him willingly. He had a little smirk on his face while he was driving. He wanted you to leave your car because he didn't trust you by yourself. He was right. You would have jet off.
"You know things are never going to be the same, right?" you say.
"I know. We'll never be able to be a normal, happy couple again. You're always going to hate me and do whatever you can to leave me, and I'm going to stop at nothing to get you back, and we'll play cat and mouse for the rest of our lives." You shook your head.
"No. That's not what I meant. That's not how it's going to be." He looks at you confused.
"What do you mean?" You didn't answer.
~.~
You pulled your suitcase into the door with heavy effort. When you were running away from him, you were so excited to leave that the weight of the bag wasn't as heavy as it really was. You wonder what else you could be capable of if you felt adrenaline like that again. If it meant escaping him again.
You wonder....
You'll just have to wonder for the rest of your life, because never again would you try to leave him. You know you've said it before, but this time, you meant it. He was yours and you were his. Forever.
You offered to cook for him. He looked absolutely flabbergasted and a bit anxious. "Hell naw. You finna poison my shit." he joked. You giggled. "I won't. I swear." Maybe before you would have, but now...
"Aight. Hurry up so I can fuck you senseless." He left to take shower. You rushed to your phone.
Ring...Ring..."GIRL! WHERE THE FUCK YOU BEEN?"
"Hey...I'm so sorry...I needed some time to myself after me and Erik broke up. I love him, you know." Jaydah sighed.
"I know bitch. You want to come over and talk about what happened? I can order some pizza and wings and we can get some junk food from Costco, I'll call up Maya and Elise-"
