James has been ignoring me, so I've been talking to Harry and Niall. Harry's past is deep.. a little too deep for me. Niall, oh my, he's so sweet. He only wants me to be happy, and he has only known me for a week and a half. Aww, he has such a kind heart.

I think it's time for me to face reality and tell James that I can't be with him. If Harry wouldn't have opened up to me, I don't think I would've ever been able to see past James.

James is controlling, and super jealous. When I first saw Niall and Harry, I thought James may have gained that little bit of trust for us that he'd actually be okay with me hanging around them. They aren't bad people after all.

I've decided to call James and ask him to meet me at my house, my dad's scary so if this doesn't go how I want, which it won't, I have my dad here to protect me.

"James is at the door, honey." My mother called.

"Okay. Where is dad?" I asked.

"He's at the door with James. He answered the door. Do you need him?" He asked.

"Yes, ask him to come here for a second."

A few seconds later, my dad walked into the room.

"Is everything okay?" He asked me.

"Uhm, no actually. See James has been too jealous lately, and I've been talking to a few friends, and I think it's time to end us. But, you and I both know James. He can be hurtful."

"So you want me to do it?" He asked.

"No, I have to do it, but I need you to be here to kick him out if needed." I said, looking at my feet.

"Okay, I'll be right here." He told him, taking a seat on the edge of my bed, and turned on my laptop to give himself something to do.

"Hey, we need to talk." I said, leading the way to my room.

"Hell yeah we gotta talk, you have a lot of explaining to do.. what the fuck is he doing in here?" He shouted, pointing to my father.

"Uhm, well it's his house, so whatever he wants I guess. Now, I need to talk to you." I said, sucking in the last breath of strength I have.

"Yeah, start talking!" He demanded.

"You think you're the innocent one here?!" I shouted.

"I damn sure know you're not!" He laughed.

"I never claimed to be." I stated, calmly.

He looked at me for a few seconds.

"You are un-fucking-believable!" He shouted.

"You wanna know what's unbelievable, James? The fact that you don't even care how I have been feeling. I've had to rely on Niall and Harry this whole time, after knowing them for only a week and a half, I'm having to dump my problems on them because Celeste doesn't know what's going on, and everyone else are your friends! I don't have any friends of my own, oh what three?! I'm a sophomore. I don't need this many problems, and I don't even wanna hear your explanation, I'm sorry but your jealousy has gotten the best of us. I think we're done."

"No baby, we only need a break." He stood from his spot on the bed.

"No, I'm done James. I need. a definite break from you, so I'm sorry, but I have to end things." I said, making direct eye contact.

An emotion flashes through his eyes, but quickly changes to anger. He stands, huffs, and balls his fists to his side.

"We'll see how long you last." He spat, walking out of the room. I don't move until I hear the front door slam.
