The Nine Worlds & The Great Mechanical world tree

Mr. Garth Emit,
Firstly, I would like to thank you for trusting me with this valuable information. Imagine my surprise when you commissioned my department to explore what we have only speculated at for centuries. Your generous funds enabled us to buy the equipment and texts required for such an enormous feat.
With much luck, and persuasion, we finally found the missing text that we needed. It is entitled the “Völuspá” and what a fabulous text it is! In short, this text does confirm the theory of the nine worlds that sit upon the branches of Yggdrasil. However, the bad news is that we do not know much more than this.
Please find attached to this letter a report of my preliminary findings. I suggest that the next course of action is to send a scout to substantiate the claims that we have presented. The scout must be someone who can be trusted implicitly, but who is naïve enough to not ask questions.
I must warn you, Mr. Emit, it was difficult, even for us at the Department of Subtle Manipulations, to gain any information on the whereabouts of the entrance. We have reason to suspect that Niefel is aware of this information and is much closer than Muspel to the entrance. Please let me know if we can be of any more assistance to you.
Sincerely,
Vinska Skrud
Report File: I-00934:
Abstract
The Völuspá may have been written centuries before our time, but there is substantial evidence contained within the manuscript to suggest that it’s true. The information has been reviewed, verified by seventeen scientists from differing specialties and only needs a visual confirmation to be accepted as fact. What first started as a curious inquiry has led to, possibly, the greatest scientific breakthrough of all time.
A warning: The information we have uncovered is shocking, unbelievable and frightening. We did find the existence of a mechanical world tree but what we did not expect to find that the world-tree is dying. We can only conclude that if Yggdrasil falls, we will be powerless against the inevitable destruction.
Composition
The Yggdrasil is a tree that is infinitely large and infinitely small at the same time. It expands outwards, pushing the boundaries of space, and yet it can collapse inwards, into a single point. It is impossible to see its entirety, but if one looks at a small granule of sand, one can see the great world tree imprinted within its patterns. The specialists (who’ve studied fragmented reality, parallel worlds and the deepest recesses of mathematical equations) have come to the same conclusion…we are a part of the tree. Anyone’s DNA will show the same patterns and materials that the tree has as it branches out into the deepest recesses of the genetic code. What does this mean? We are the world trees on which we exist.
The tree is a mechanical wonder and long have the beings, humans and Gods wished to emulate its likeness. The engineering experts have described the large pumping metal components as “two-toned with blackened metal and graven gold and the branches are covered in shining loam.” From its coiling roots spring the source of its magnificent and never-ending power. The roots of the great tree dip into the twelve streams of fuel called the Elva springs.
