Chapter 7: Gajeel joins Fairy Tail

Gajeel's POV:
When I woke up I saw Levy talking with her friends about what happened earlier I smirked and sat up and winced from the pain in my chest from when I let those two knuckle heads take their anger out on me earlier and Levy saw that I was awake and walked over to me, "Your still hurt Gajeel, even with your healing abilities you'll need to take it easy for a little bit." she said as she wrapped some bandages around my chest and I just looked outside the window and I saw that it was almost dark and I was still in Levy's motel room. "I better get back to my room, Shrimp. And by the way you two don't ever make her cry again. Just so you know I'll be listening the whole time." I said as I started to get off the bed, but Levy laid her hand on my chest and I stopped moving and looked into her eyes, "Your still hurt Gajeel, you need to rest for now. So, if you don't mind, you could stay in here for the night. We're heading back to the guild tomorrow anyways since those thieves were killed somehow." said Levy as she was trying to help keep my secret and I knew I would owe her big time for this. "Levy, we're really sorry we made you cry when we hurt your friend like we did. We completely overreacted when we saw you and Gajeel in here earlier." said Droy as he tried his best to make amends for what happened, "Yeah, if you had told us his name then we might have thought otherwise so we understand why you didn't tell us his name at all. You were trying to make sure that no one knew about him since he's a really cool guy and I guess he makes you happy." said Jet as he held his hand out to me to shake hands with me. I took his hand and shook it, "Don't worry about it bub, Shrimp and I are just friends." I said.

Levy's POV:
Once Jet and Droy went back to their room Gajeel and I had a moment of uncomfortable silence, "So, um, that happened." said Gajeel as he laid his head back on the pillow so he can rest, "So, Gajeel, before all that stuff with Jet and Droy happened you were about to say something about 'not having found you mate yet' you were about to say something. What was it?" I asked, "You're not going to let me rest until I answer that are you?" he asked me, "Nope." I said with a smile. Gajeel sighed and sat up slowly so that he wasn't in much pain, "The thing is, I think I've found my mate. And, um, I hope you don't take this the wrong way Shrimp but um, it's you. When we first met I started having this feeling that there was something special about you. And now I know what it was because that my werewolf senses were leading me to you." said Gajeel, then I started blushing bright red and Gajeel saw my face and smiled his very sexy smile, GAH! There I go again. But then again, I have to admit I do have strong feelings for him and honestly, I had a dream about having a werewolf as a boyfriend and it's one of my pet peeves. "G-Gajeel, I-I been meaning to tell you this for a while now, I have feelings for you as well. But I'm not ready to be marked by you, not now." I said, "Don't worry, I understand. When you're ready let me know." said Gajeel and I was glad that he wasn't forcing this whole marking thing on me, "So what are you going to do when we get back to Magnolia?" I asked. "Not sure, I mean I might join a guild and go on some job requests to earn some jewel." he said, "You know, you could always join Fairy Tail. I'm a member and I could put in a good word for you with master Makarov." I said as I told Gajeel about Fairy Tail he seemed to be interested. "You would seriously do that for me?" he asked, "Well, you've saved my life three times; it's the least I can do." I said with a smile on my face and his ruby red eyes gleamed with joy even though his face didn't look like it was filled with joy I could just tell that he was going to take me up on my offer and join Fairy Tail. "Thanks Shrimp." he said as he laid back down and closed his eyes, "I already told you to stop calling me Shrimp." I said but he didn't hear me because he was already snoring like a wolf and it made him all the more sexier than he already was. I giggled and went into the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for bed so that I could be ready to head back to Magnolia in the morning. Once I got back into the room I saw Gajeel was still sleeping and he was so hot and cute and then his wolf ears and tail appeared, and I shrieked a little with surprise and he woke up, "What's going on? Who's attacking?" he growled as he shot up into a defensive stance and when he turned around and saw my face was bright red and I was smiling. "What's wrong with you Shrimp?" he asked, "Your ears and tail are so cute." I said then I covered my mouth when I realized I said that out loud. "Um, thanks. They always appear when I'm healing while I'm sleeping to help quicken the process." he said as he laid back down on the bed and went back to sleep, "If you're going to keep staring at me like that you might as well get in bed and sleep." he said as he rolled onto his side and he started snoring again. I blushed beat red and got into bed and pulled the covers over me and I saw that Gajeel wasn't under the covers as well, so I figured that he was used to sleeping without a sheet over him. After a while I fell into a nice sleep and had a really great dream about me and Gajeel being together.
