Chapter 11: A night to remember

Gajeel's POV:
While Shrimp was sleeping I took off my suit and placed it neatly on the desk and got into the bed with Shrimp since there was only one bed in her house and honestly it was really nice. I haven't slept this good in years, once I closed my eyes I felt Shrimp start to move so I knew that she was awake and then she went into the bathroom to get changed. Once she got back into bed she pressed herself against my chest and I could smell the sweet scent that she has and I let my wolf ears and tail appear and finally, I fell asleep.

Time Skip
The next morning
Levy's POV:
When I woke up I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist and I realized that Gajeel was still sleeping and he was holding me close to his chest, I had to admit it was really nice. I saw his adorable wolf ears and tail were twitching in his sleep and I smiled at how cute he looks when he sleeps like this. I heard him say something in his sleep and I thought he said 'Shrimp' but as I listened more carefully I heard him say "Shrimp, I love you." and he licked my cheek and I blushed bright red. 'H-he l-licked my cheek.' I thought to myself and I started to freak out a little bit but then Gajeel woke up and yawned in a wolfish way and it was so cute. "Morning, Shrimp." said Gajeel, I looked away from him and my face turned bright red again and I shivered when he traced his soft black tail along my leg and I looked into his handsome ruby red eyes and I did something that I never thought I would do in a million years, I kissed Gajeel on the lips and he kissed me back. I rolled on top of Gajeel and we continued to kiss each other then I felt Gajeel's hand go down my back and he was about to take my shirt off when all of a sudden I saw the look in his eyes and I knew that he wanted even more but I wasn't ready yet. "Gajeel not now, I'm not ready for that yet." I said, "Sorry, I couldn't help myself. My inner wolf got turned on when you started kissing me like that." he said as he kissed my head and he held me close to him and I never wanted to get out of bed today, but I had to go open my bookstore and that sucked because all I want to do is stay in bed with Gajeel and sleep the whole day. "Shrimp what's wrong?" asked Gajeel, "As much as I want to stay in bed with you Gajeel, I have to go and open my bookstore." I said, "Maybe I could help you out at the store." said Gajeel as he ran his hand through my hair, it was nice of him and I could hear his heart beat as I laid my head against his strong muscular chest, "Hey, Gajeel you talk in your sleep. I heard you say you loved me." I said teasingly, "W-what are you t-talking about? I don't talk in my sleep." he said trying to deny it, "You're a really bad liar Gajeel." I said as I kissed him on the lips again and then I got up and went into the bathroom to take a shower and get ready for work.

Gajeel's POV:
Once I got my suit on I told Shrimp that I would meet her at the bookstore after I go and get some of my regular clothes on. Once I got home I took a quick shower and got my normal clothes on and left to meet Shrimp at the bookstore and I was glad that she was letting me help her out with her bookstore. Once I got inside I saw some guy with a pair of sunglasses and a hat on and his scent told me that something was off about him, but I couldn't tell what was so off about him because I was getting different scents from him one scent was bleach, another was lemon, and the last scent was some kind of sulfur scent. "Gajeel, what's wrong?" asked Shrimp, "That guy over there, his scent his weird. But I can't understand why he smells like bleach, lemon, and sulfur." I said, and then the guy left, and I thought I saw him smile but then again, I could have been imagining it. For some reason, I started to get a bad feeling in my gut which always helped me out.

Time Skip
Levy's POV:
Once the last customer left my store Gajeel helped me clean up the store and we both walked back to his place because he said that he had something for me. While I was waiting for Gajeel to come back a small black cat with a crescent-shaped moon scare over his left eye walked over to me and let me pet him. "And what's your name little guy?" I asked, "His name's Pantherlily." said Gajeel as he walked over to me and Pantherlily and handed me a small box wrapped in a blue bow. "It's not much but since you like to read I got you something that might interest you, Shrimp." said Gajeel as I took the blue bow off the box and opened to find a newly released book of my favorite saga, 'When Time Stood Still'. I couldn't help but hug Gajeel and kiss him for the present, "Thank you so much Gajeel. How'd you even find this book?" I asked, "I have a friend who knows the author. And he helped me out get this book for you." he said as he smiled and kissed my head as I started to read the new book that my boyfriend got me. "You're the best boyfriend ever Gajeel." I said as I looked up at him and stared into his ruby red eyes, "And you're the best girlfriend that I've ever had. Actually, you're the only girlfriend I've had." Gajeel said as he smirked and pulled me in for a kiss and I melted into it. I don't know how long Gajeel and I kissed for but I didn't care, all I wanted to do was stay in Gajeel's strong arms and always be with him for the rest of my life. Then Pantherlily meowed and Gajeel and I broke away and we smiled at each other, then Gajeel got up to get Pantherlily something to eat. When he came back he had a kiwi in his hand and gave it to Pantherlily who meowed with joy and started to eat the kiwi. "Well, he seems to really love kiwis." I said as I giggled, "Yeah, Lily will eat kiwis for breakfast and dinner." said Gajeel as he sat back down on the couch with me and wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him, I blushed and rested my head against his chest and I could hear his heartbeat going wild. I smiled and nuzzled my head into the crook of Gajeel's neck and he rubbed my side slowly while humming a tone that I found so soothing. "This is a night to remember. Thank you again Gajeel." I said, "Don't mention it, Shrimp." he said and he kissed my head and laid his head on mine and since I was smaller than he was I couldn't stop him even if I could. Then he whispered something into my ear which made me blush really bad and I thought I misheard him, "Y-you w-want m-me t-to stay here with you?" I asked nervously, it wasn't as if he was asking me to mate with him but still we've only slept together once so far but I guess it wouldn't be so bad since we both love each other. "You don't have to if you don't want to. I was just asking if you wanted to." he said, "Gajeel, of course, I'll stay here with you tonight." I said as I kissed him after saying that, then he kissed me back more passionately and he got up with me in his grasp not breaking the kiss and we went into the bedroom and he lay down with me underneath him. "You are the best girlfriend I've ever had." he said in between breaths as we continue making out, "And you are the best boyfriend that I've ever had." I replied in between breaths. After we finished making out we both laid down on the bed with me in Gajeel's embrace and I won't lie to myself anymore, I really wanted to stay with him forever.
