Chapter 10

*10years later. Amelia and Ricky are about 31*
I walked into the kitchen of our house and called up the stairs "EVERLYN LILY JULIE VAUGHN, JACK LUKE JAKE VAUGHN, GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE NOW. ITS FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR YOU JACK AND EVERLYN YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL WETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT" and then I heard two lot of foot steps running down the stairs. Everlyn came running into the kitchen, closely followed by jack and they grabbed their school bags and Ricky come down the stairs in his normal blue Indians jersey tucked into his black jeans with his normal haircut and his black boots and came behind the cooker and kissed my cheek and jack made a disgusted face "Oi, you pair you'll be like this one day when you fall in love" and then both the kids laughed and I smiled at them as Ricky grabbed the car keys and walked out the door with the kids. I grabbed my *cough**cough* Ricky's but he hasn't found out yet *cough**cough* leather jacket and got in the car and Ricky drove us to the school and jack didn't wanna get out the car "okay jack we will make a deal with you, you can come to the start of training today and see uncle Jake, auntie Lynn, ivy, Cerrano, Harris, Dorn, Lou and uncle Hayes. How does that sound?" I asked him and he nodded his head vigorously and legged it out of the car "I wanna come too mom. Maybe even try out" our (adoptive daughter but we treat her like our own) evie asked " you are too much like your mother sometimes" Ricky said and I hit his arm and looked at out 15 year old daughter "of course bab, you'll do brilliant I know it and it would be good to have another girl on the team" she laughed and got out the car and made her way over to her friends "is that a boy she's talking to?" Ricky asked and I looked out to see a boy who looked like Ricky a bit talking to evie and her smiling and blushing which reminds me of when I first met Ricky and how I was with him "okay Ricky just drive, she's the exact same as I was with you" "but that was different we were older and you could've said no" "yea and so can she if she doesn't like him. Please drive home so I can get changed into my training clothes" he nodded and started to drive off and looked at my outfit briefly "wait a second, is that my leather jacket?" Ricky asked with one eyebrow raised oh shit he caught on "erm, would you believe me if I said no?"I asked him "no I wouldn't cause I know that's my jacket cause of 2 reasons. 1 is because it has ripped sleeves like the one I wore for the day I turned up ten years ago and the number 2 is that it is 10x bigger on you and ypall of my clothes are 10x bigger on you" "okay fine, you caught me" I laughed and so did he "are you ready for today's?" He asked "a bit. Are you?" I asked him back and he just nodded his head and we got back home, got changed and waited until it was the end of the day to go pick up the kids from school.

It was the end of the day and we made our way to school and I went into jacks class to pick him up "jack hunni, let's go shall we?" I asked him "are we really actually going?" He said excitedly and I nodded and he started jumping up and down and grabbed my hand. I said goodbye to the teacher and we made our way to the car where Ricky is sitting glaring forward. I told jack to get into the car and put my head through the open car window "what's wrong with you?" I asked and Ricky just pointed and I looked over to see evie looking at the same guy she was talking to earlier but he was kissing another girl and evie had tears in her eyes and I made my way over to her "you really liked him didn't you evie?" I asked her and she just nodded and tears started to fall from her eyes "hey, hey you'll find the perfect guy for you and he'll be perfect you you in every single way" I hugged her and she nodded and looked at me "he liked me but then said he lost interest when I said I wanted to play baseball as a career" I looked at her with my eyebrows raised and looked at the asshole "and what did he want to do when he grew up?" I asked her "he wanted to be an lawyer" "ugh boring boyfriend material right there" I said and she started laughing at me "erm evie?" Some one asked from behind us and me and evie turned around to be faced with a boy with a baseball cap on and a t shirt and black jeans "yea?" Evie asked "erm I was wondering if you wanted to come and watch me in a baseball game one time, that's if you want to of course" he said nervously and evie looked at me and I gave her the look of go for it if you feel the spark bab and then she looked at him "yea I'd love to when's the date?" She asked "erm next Friday" he said and she nodded "I'll see you there Jake" she said and he turned red and walked away "omg your unclog Jakes ego is gonna boost up now" I said while we climbed in the car "is everything okay?" Ricky asked and me and evie both nodded and we drove to the Cleveland Indians  stadium.

We all got out of the car "welcome kids, to the place where me and your father fell in love with the team and each other" I said as we walked in and the a ball came towards Evie's face and I caught it right in front of her face and she let out the breath she was holding "omg I'm so sorry" Dorn said as he cane over to us and high fived Ricky and hugged me lightly "who are these two Melia?" He asked me "this is evie and jack, our kids" I said and he looked at us shocked and took Ricky over to the pitching station "come on kids, let's go over to uncle Jake shall we?" And then they both nodded as we walked round to the batting box where my brother was on his knees with Lynn and their 9 year old daughter Ivory but we all call her ivy "Oi, big bro" I said as I walked over "AUNTIE AMELIA" ivy called and ran over to me and I picked her up "Jesus you've grown up haven't you missy?" I said and she nodded "can you ask dad to stop going over the baseball rules I want to be a swimmer like mom was" she asked me nicely "I'll see what I can do kiddo" and then I put her down and walked over to Jake and he hugged me "Jake, you know she wants to be a swimmer" I said to him and he sighed "I know, but you can't say I didn't try" he said and then jack launched himself on Jake and started to have a conversation with him and I hugged Lynn and evie followed me to Hayes and as soon as he saw me he hugged me and then hugged evie and then started to teach her some techniques and then I went and said hi to Cerrano and Harris and then looked everywhere for Lou but couldn't find him so I went into the changing room and looked at the photo of us all once we won and I came back from my blackout "I heard you were looking for me?" I heard someone question and I whipped around to be faced with Lou and I smiled at him and ran over to him and hugged him "your kids look ready to go" he said while smiling "what did you do?" I asked him "it's more like what did your husband do" and I laughed and ran outside to see Ricky teaching teaching jack how to pitch and jack chucked it hard at the gate and broke the sign "oh Jesus I have to go through this again" I said while laughing and Lou laughed with me and then looked over to the batting station where Cerrano was teaching evie and she shit one over the stadium walls and she looked at me and I put my thumbs up at her and she smiled. "Do you think she can make it in this year Lou?" I asked and he nodded and I smiled at her and saw at the gates Jake smiling at her. And saw he had hair similar to Ricky's and I started to laugh and Lou just looked at me as d then caught on and started laughing and everyone just looked at us weirdly who,e we were laughing our heads off at that little thing.

My name is Amelia Taylor but I am now called Amelia Vaughn but most people call me Melia. My husband is Ricky Vaughn A.K.A wild thing. We have two beautiful children. Everlyn lily Julie Vaughn, who is adopted but acts mor like me each day, and Jack Jake Luke Vaughn, who is exactly like his dad, even when pitching. My brother is Jake Taylor and I have the best life anyone could ask for. I have a brilliant Career and I have a little family in that job and it's where I met the love of my life.
