Chapter 20

Doctors pov

Lindsey was alive I did it, I walked out to my office and my nurse was looking after Lindsey so I could call her mom. I dialed her moms number.

Phone convo
D- hello ms. (Y/n) this is Doctor Darius.
Y- oh hello dr. Darius
D- I have some wonderful news for you
Y- what is it?
D- I have been trying to see if I could save Lindsey, and well she's alive we're gonna keep her for 2 days to make sure everything is alright then you can come pick her up, you are aloud to visit her still.
Y- when am I aloud to come see her?
D- tomorrow at 4pm?
Y- yes that's okay. Thank you so much dr.
D- don't thank me, I know I wouldn't be able to live without my daughter either just wanted to help.
End of phone convo

(Y/n) POV

I was so happy I called jack and had him sit with the boys. "So I know the doctor had told us Lindsey was gone, but he said he wasn't giving up on Lindsey and she's alive, he's keeping her for 2 days but we're going to see her tomorrow" I say and they all jump up and down.

"Austin will you come with us tomorrow?" I ask "sure if you don't mind" he says "you can stay the night for the next two days so you can see Lindsey come home" I say, he smiled at me.

I let him and Dustin sleep in Lindsey's room till she came home. I'm so happy she's not gone, I feel so much better.

Jacks POV

So the doctor lied to us all and told us she was gone. That hurts but I'm so happy she's not. I love Lindsey and whatever she wants to happen I'll let happen.

Lindsey's POV
I don't wanna be alive I just want Austin. I know I'm awake but I can't move im so numb. "Hey sweetie" the nurse says "are you hungry or thirsty" She asks sweetly "y-yes" I spit out.

My throats is so dry, she walks out the room and comes back with food and water and helps me eat and drink.

*Tomorrow*

I woke up and I herd my mom and Dustin talking my eyes opened and I saw Austin "A-Austin" I say confused and he smiles "hey sweetheart" he says and walks over to me him and Dustin switch spots and he holds my hand "how ya feeling?" He asks "am I crazy? Wait am I dead" I ask confused "no your alive and it's gonna stay like that okay" he says and kisses my hand.

I must be dreaming he died, he's not actually here this is just a crazy dream that hurts. "Austin I don't think she believes it's you, I mean she was told you were gone" my mom says "mom when can I leave?" I ask squeezing Austin's hand knowing he's here "you leave tomorrow but me and Austin and Dustin will be here okay and your dad is coming to pick us all up tomorrow and he's coming really soon" she says "but you guys hate each other" I say and she smiles.

Then dad walks Into the room and wraps his arm around mom and kisses her cheek "hey hunny" he says "WAIT" I try yelling but it hurts "sssh don't strain yourself sweetie" the nurse says and brings me water. I nod and look at my parents "this has to be a dream I can't believe it" I say "no me and your mother got back together for you and Dustin even tho we were told you were gone" dad says and I smile "hey Dustin" I say and Dustin looks at me "hey" he says crying and walks over to me and gently kisses my forehead.

I smile "don't cry I'm right here" I say and smile weakly "I love you Lindsey" Dustin says "I love you too baby brother" I say and grab his hand with my other hand. "Guys could I talk to Lindsey alone please" Austin asks and my heart drop. Is he gonna tell me he doesn't like me or he doesn't want me around.... oh god.

I'm awoken from my thoughts when Austin squeezes my hand, "Lindsey when I spammed your phone and your mom told me you were gone I cried and sobbed, when I was in my coma and I woke up the first person I requested to see was you. Lindsey what I'm trying to say is I love you..." he says and rubs the back of his neck.

"Austin..." he cuts me off "I'm sorry I'll just leave" he says and I grab his arm and pull him back, "Austin listen to Me" I stop "I've liked you a lot when I found out you were gone i tried to kill myself, Austin I realized without you around I don't want anyone else, I really like you and I don't wanna live without you" I continue, "Lindsey" he says "yes Austin" I respond "will you be my girlfriend" he asks and kisses my hand.

"Yes Austin I will" I respond, Dustin walks into the room with a rose and and a ring on the stem. He hands it to me and smiles. He sits in the chair next to Austin, "I'm so happy for you guys" he says and kisses my forehead. "Wait you knew" I say "well of course he asked me last night, and uh honestly I'm happy your around again" he says and I just smile.

"Austin, if it's okay could you maybe stay the night when I get home" I ask "if your uncle lets me, I'm staying the night till you get home I'll see what I can do for ya babygirl" he says and I smile. The nurse walks back into my room "sweetie who would you like to stay with you tonight?" She asks "Dustin, Austin, and my mom, or my dad" I say "you can have all 4 of them" she says "thank you" I say and she tells my mom and dad to come in and they sit on the bench against the wall and they smile as Dustin and Austin sit next to me, I held Austin's hand refusing to let go.

It started to get late and I just fell asleep i was enjoying my life right now. But I already know I'm gonna lose Austin when mom and dad move back in together.

~Dream~
Me and Dustin were talking about his girlfriend and then we heard the door open but Dustin wouldn't let me look at the door.

Austin came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me and placed his head on my shoulder.

"Lindsey i love you" is all I hear.
