Kleint's POV

After my morning rituals, I immediately went downstairs to have my breakfast. I entered the kitchen room and I saw my mom cooking and my dad sitting on the table with his newspaper and a cup of coffee.

"Hi, mom. Good morning." I greeted.

"Good morning, sweetie. Have a seat, I'll prepare your breakfast." mom said as I turned around to greet my dad.

"Hey, dad. Good morning."

He sipped his coffee. "Good morning, son. How's your study?"

"Amazingly fine, dad." I said and sitted on my chair.

Mom put some cereals on my bowl and I ate it after.

"Klenton, you don't have to ask your son about that things, as early in this morning. It might pressure him, y'know?" mom said made my forehead curled.

"Mom, it's okay---"

"No it isn't--"

"Charmie, you're overreacting again. I was just asking to our son about his studies. What's wrong about that?" Dad cutted.

"Yeah, mom. You're overreacting again, as always." I said made me and dad chuckled.

Mom groaned. "Like father, like son."

I just smiled and continued my meal.

My mom, Charmie Cordero-Delgado is very sweet and over-reactor. She is always like that and Im used to it. I understand why she is like that.

Then, Klenton Delgado, my dad. A business-man. He owns an agency for over-seas filipino workers, for people who's searching for jobs. It's more like a call center, etc. I still don't understand his work because Im still not ready for that. I am still a teenager, y'know.

I am lucky to have them as my parents. Well, even in their age they still love each other. They treat each other like a precious diamond. That's what I admire to both of them. I wish I could be like them when I get old, with the woman I really love the most.

Okay, not for this time. I'm still busy on my school-works and especially on my writing-career.

I am a writer on Bookpad. It is an online app where you could read free stories and you can also write stories for free.

I have four stories completed and one story on-going. My first story gained 101.6M reads and 67.8K votes. But still, I am undiscovered. I have four stories completed but one of them still doesn't on published.

I didn't showed my face on social media, even in Bookpad, my profile picture is just a chibi. My readers knew that I am a guy. I choose to hide the real me and face for privacy. Now-a-days, if you are good looking, some people--especially girls will admire you just by your physical appearance not by your talent. So, that's why I hide my face.

I am now currently typing my next chapter when dad bid goodbye and walked-out the door. I turned my gaze to mom who is now washing the dishes.

"Mom.."

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Why didn't I know, the lot in front of our house is now sold?" I asked mom out of nowhere.

"Oh that? Yeah, we have new neighborhood. I think they are good, and I saw a girl too. Mind making friends with her?"

I look at mom in disbelief.

"Seriously, mom?"

Mom wiped her hands and walk towards me.

"Sweetie, you think I don't know that you don't have friends?"
