Rani loves early mornings, always had and probably always will. And ever since she had a boyfriend, she loves waking up early even more. She just loved watching her boyfriend Marco while he was still asleep.

And this morning was no different. When Rani woke up this morning a quarter before her alarm clock was due to wake her Marco had his arms wrapped around her waist, lips buried in her hair. His warm breath tickled Rani's neck as she tried to suppress a smile.

Slowly Rani tried to lift his arms lightly in order to be able to turn herself around so she could face him. Marco's eyes were still closed, his hair looked really messy and his mouth was slightly parted.

Watching him sleep was one of Rani's favorite things to do and after being together for almost five years and living together for two, it really felt like a daily routine to her. When Marco was away due to his profession as a footballer, that's what Rani always misses the most. To her, the bed feels more empty and cold when he is gone.

"Watching me again, huh?" all of a sudden Marco's voice startled her. It certainly wasn't the first time that Marco caught his girlfriend staring and while Marco always found it very entertaining and also flattering, Rani always had to deal with her blushing hot cheeks.

"I'm not." she whined and turned around again so the footballer was now facing her back. "Stop being so full of yourself Reus." Rani tried to make it sound like a complaint, but failed miserably to do so.

"I know you were watching me." Marco laughed as he lightly tickled her sides and pressed a delicate kiss against her neck. Playfully rolling her eyes at him, Rani turned around again.

"You should start to get ready for training Mister." Now it was Marco's turn to roll his eyes at her.

"I still have like an hour left; you're stuck with me for some more time." He winked at Rani and gave her a sly smirk.

"I'm hungry." Rani mumbled quietly while tracing patterns on her boyfriend's bare chest. "Might as well get up and make ourselves some breakfast."

"No. Stay!" Marco started to whine like a little child as Rani slowly got up from their shared bed. Her boyfriend had never been a morning person and it always took Marco forever to get up - and he never managed to do so without whining.

"I'm hungry! And I'm going to make myself something to eat!" Rani stated "Do you want something too?"

"Yes, please." Marco answered while burying his head in Rani's pillow.

"Are you going to join me?" Rani laughed and shook her head at his childish behavior. It didn't really surprise her when Marco didn't answer her so without saying another word she left the bedroom and made her way downstairs into their spacious kitchen.

After taking some time to prepare herself and Marco some breakfast, the table was set, Rani was actually also already dresses, but something or rather someone was still missing.

"Marco!" Rani shouted for what felt like the 100th time. The young women was slowly getting annoyed at her boyfriend and decided it was time to have breakfast - on her own.

Suddenly Marco stormed in the kitchen, scaring the sh*t out of his girlfriend. "Sorrryy..." he said while taking a seat next to Rani. "But look! I'm dressed!" Marco sounded like he was really impressed with herself, but all Rani could do was to roll her eyes at him. "Sorry." He told her again, sounding more genuine this time.

"Don't worry." Rani laughed and pressed a kiss against his lips.

"I still don't know how on earth I got so lucky."

"Stop, Marco!" Rani shouted while covering her face "You are making me blush. Stop" She could already feel her cheeks heating up, but she also couldn't help the smile that was creeping upon her face.

"I love you, Rani!"

"And I love you!"
