💕The Perks Of Being Niqabi (ON HOLD)

When we reached school after a chat in the car, we found Aminah waiting for us at the gate. She was also wearing her niqab, we were like the three niqabi's. But the perks of having a niqab :  I was the first one out of the three of us who started wearing a niqab, Its was really tough especially last year people made fun of you, the stares that you got even from the teachers. But Alhumdulillah things have kind of settled down people are kind of used to us now I guess but we still get the stares and things said an odd few times.

'Hey girlies wassup' Aminah says cheerfully. Nothing much we both reply, but smile beneath our niqabs. We head to the lockers to grab our books for class. 'Hey girls there are some guys coming our way lower your gaze!' Aisha calls. Luckily they don't say anything just walk past us. Phew! we all sigh in relief.' Hey girls wanna come over to my place for a sleepover on Friday?' Aisha suggests. That would be nice I say, though I'll have to check with mum just in case we will have any guests.' I'll try and come' Aminah says. 'Great! make sure to pack your things girlies we'll have a midnight feast!'.' Thanks Aisha'.

'Asalamualaikum' I say aloud when I come home.' Walaikumusalam' my mother replies. How was your day Fatima? she asks. Alhumdullilah fine I reply. I go upstairs take off my niqab and go to the bathroom and wash my face with my lavender soap thoroughly, I usually like to stay fresh when I come home from school. When i'm done I go downstairs and set the table for dinner. 'I've made biryani today' mum says. Ooh thanks mum I say smiling , you always make the best biryani. Where's dad I say. He's gone to the mosque, he'll be back soon inshallah ( if Allah wills) she replies. We ate in silence after that and after I helped washed the dishes and went to the bathroom to make wudhu for Asar namaz. After praying I decided to read a few pages of the Q'uran and have a small rest...
