"So it started with a carnaval. We- me, you, and your brother- were looking for our parents, since we got lost. Totally not my fault, I only asked you guys to watch the puppet show, and your brother agreed, and you totally lost vote. And, you were crying your heart out, saying you were right all along. Your brother was out of ideas to calm you down. So, I spotted this stand with a lot of cute doll prizes. I tried so hard. I wasted five whole dollars on you. I got that money from d- you know what, nevermind. The man asked what's it for, since I'm trying more than other kids tried. As if. I pointed my finger at you, and he winked at me and said 'She a pretty one. Yea?' I mean that guy was worse than my mother."
I nodded my head "What did you say to the man?"
"Nah, I just can't hold her screeching." He smirked. I can only smack his hand playfully as I smile. "Dresshole." I said. He stared at me for a while and laughed.
"What?" I asked defensively. "Dresshole really?" He smiled. Like smiled not smirked.
"Well if a dress has a hole that would be irritating to girls, right?" I said. He laughed again.
When we got to the shop, the coffeemaker and everything was already in place. I walked in making the bell ring. "Ah, Ari. Come On, I'll tell you what to do. Here put this Apron." Grey came out from the counter. The 'Apron' is only from my waist down, so it didn't cover my shirt.
"So?" I asked him. "So, you are gonna take the people's orders, here you write them down here, recite them to me, and stick it to this place. Here. Number them based on the line. Got it?" He said while cleaning his coffeemaking site. (Yes I make up a lot of names here) "Got It." I said looking for a pen.
"It's under the table, left drawer." Mahendra said. Did he read my mind or somthing?"Thanks Mahendra. Do you have a nickname?" I said taking the pen out of the drawer.
"You used to call him Mandry." My brother whispered in my ear. I laughed, and Mahendra just scowled.
"Alright Mandry." I said.
The bell rang, signalling a customer. "Morning Mahendra, Morning Grey, Hey Cather." Oh. It's Vegas. "If you keep calling me that, I might have to start calling you Levi." I giggled.
He shrugged. "I don't mind. Cath and Levi ended up together, right?" I blushed. "Not my point." I mutter.
Mahendra laughed, but there's something off to it. "God book geeks, enough with the flirting." Again, Vegas just shrugged.
"Coffee?" Ari asked. "Yeah, ask Grey for the usual." He smiled. "Grey" I hollered. "Vegas wants the usual."
"Got it." I heard. We and by we I meant Mahendra and I, (Vegas was staring at me), talked and joked around. "Dude cut it out, you're scaring her." Mahendra said. "By all means, I apologize, I haven't seen someone so beautiful since my mother." Vegas replied.
Grey went out with the coffee. "Did you just compared my sister to your mother? God, just stick to your book flirts, you're bad at this, by the way.".
Mahendra smirked, his eyes looked like he was gonna say something that will tip Vegas off. "Can't help if his mother is so hot." He laughed. Unintentionally, I laughed too, remembering the story about Vegas' mother in the car. Vegas looked surprised and angry, but he just took the coffee, and left, coming back in a five seconds later to slam the bill, and flip the finger as we laugh.
"God, Mandry, you and Vegas don't get along well, do you?" I asked.
"He started a fight with me yesterday, but usually, it's fine." He looked like he's hiding something.
"Yes, they were fighting about you, but I've made the lines clear. Right, Mandry?" Grey looked at him, threatening Mandry to defy him.
"Yessir, to prove this I shall ask Aricia a question. Aricia, Vegas is a prince charming right?"
I nodded slowly, not knowing how to respond. Grey rolled is eyes and walked back to his 'kitchen'.
"Good, because the knight is the one who deserve the girl." I heard Mahendra muttered.
