Levi 's Pov

"Stay here the king will need" Pixis the second commander(?) said while gathering the troops go after the girl.

I walk back inside with Farlan in hand to my stepfather chambers. As I walked in a saw Erwin in his bed coughing. 

"Do not look at me Levi, my son," Stepfather said to me.

"Why shouldn't I father?" I said to him knowing that he was dying.

"I look to so weak and so old," he said coughing again and looked at me.

"You sure do look like your real mother Levi," he said making me widen my eyes.

"you did know my mom?" I question him trying to not to get mad in the process.

"Yes she was dying while giving birth to you she ask me to take you in to not see what she went through I was there on accident but I still took you in because my wife and I couldn't have children," He said looked at me which I came closer to him.

"But I still think you will be a great king when I pass," HE said and coughed and looked at me.

"you had to get the girl that ran away didn't you?" Erwin said while hugging me in his deathbed while I nodded.

"I want you to be happy my son I am proud to have raised you and your mom would have been so proud," he said with that he closed his eyes and breath in his last breath and his heart stop. 

I didn't cry but I hugged him and I must carry out his wish and followed my heart.

Narrators pov

New travel verry far away from the kingdom reaching to people and even Y/n heard the news.

Y/n's Pov

Once you heard the news you were shocked the Levi wanted to marry you. You quickly hopped on Luna and headed home.

You put your horse in the staples and went towards the attic where you hid the glass slipper. when you went to the box that you left you slipper you found that the slipper was gone.

"You are looking for these?" Ask a female voice noticing it was step-mother who was hiding in the shadows of my room. Holding the glass slipper

"It must have a quite of a story to go with it. Won't you tell me?" Stepmother said.

you stayed silent while taking a step closer.

"No? All right then I will tell you mines" She said and you stayed silent.

"there was once a kind woman who met a nice man later they both got married and had two daughters then the same man died the man of her light had died." She said and continued.

"The next time she married for the sake of her daughter, but that was taken from her too... I lived   unhappily ever after." She said while glaring at you.

"My story would have appeared to be ended," she said.

"Kindness is free to love is free," you said towards her.

"Love is not free," She said looking at you.

"Now, here is how you will pay me," Stepmother said walking out of the shadows.

"If you will have what you desire." She said walking towards you.

"Veronica and Petra will be paired off with very very wealthy lords and I will manage that boy," She said while coming closer to you.

"But he is not a boy," You said towards her.

"And who are you?" She said standing in front of you.

"Then I will protect the prince and the kingdom no matter what becomes of me," You said while she was already by the door.

"Well, that big mistake," she said and broke the glass slipper against the wall.

"NO!" You screamed

"Why?" You said towards her.

"Why? Because you are young and innocent and good and I despise you" She said while storming out of the room closing the door and locking you in your room.

You ran towards the door and it was locked.

"How I am going to tell the prince that love him" while looking at gus gus.

Commander Pixis Pov

"Commander there is a lady who wants to talk to you," A soldier said towards me.

"Lead the way," I said while he took me to a little place next t the window and saw the lady.

" I need to speak to you about the mystery princess and we both want the best for our kingdom" She spoke and I dismissed the soldier and I and the lady sat down

"I found these in my maid's room" She pulled out have of the heel of the glass slipper that was now broken and shatters.

"So are you saying The mysterious princesses is a commoner," I said to her.

"You could imagine when I discovered the glass slipper I was horrified," She said and I touched my beard.

"Have you told anybody else?" I said.

"Not even my own two daughters," She said and laughed and I laughed with her.

"So what do you want" 

"I should like to be a countess," She said a looked at me.

"And I require advantages for my two daughters," she said.

"All right but must not tell anyone" The I laughed.

Levi's Pov

"How did you found this?" I asked Pixis while holding the broke glass slipper.

"Someone must have broken it or found it," Farlan said.

"You highness, No she must have disappeared," Pixis said following me to the throne room.

"There must be a reason why she vanish," I said toward Pixis.

"Perhaps she has been prevented from speaking my lord" Said Pixis.

"Do not lose hope Levi," said Farlan.

"On the contrary, lose heart and gain wisdom. but is she is not found for the good of the kingdom you must marry princess Isabell" Pixis said.

"Alright but go look for her,"I said and looked at him.

"Of course your majesty, you have my word," Pixis said and walked away with a smirk on his face while Farlan was following close behind.
