Austin's POV

"Here's Aussie!" Chris said as I got off the boat.

"Yo. Since I don't trust or like any of you. the names Austin. Got it?" I said, grabbing my Inuyasha backpack and Soul Eater duffle bag.

"Austin Lee Cross? Is that you?" I hear two voices say, causing me to look up.

"Duncan Hartwell and Bridgette Nunciato? No freaking way!" I yelled, hugging them both.

"Hey who's who here?" I asked.

"Nerd boy: Harold, Girl Scout: Beth, Gothic Chick: Gwen, Huge Dude: DJ, Jock: Tyler, Barbie: Linsday, Queen Bee: Heather, Party Boy: Geoff, Princess: Courtney and Musican: Trent." Bridge said.

Trent's kinda cute I thought. But I guess I was too engrossed in my thoughts because it was soon time to take pictures.

"Alright lets take our promo photo. 1,2,3 oops lens cap's on. 1,2,3 uhpp cards full." Chris said, a small smirk on his face

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I said leaning on Trent's back as I rubbed my temples.

"Come on man before my face freezes." LaShawna said.

"OK ready 1,2,3" he started then the dock broke.

Really he takes it when we're in the water. I let out a low growl as I broke the surface, feeling my lip ring with my fingers. I really hope that it's still there.

" Alright campers dry off and meet me at the camp fire." Chris said walking off.

I then noticed a hand in my face. I look up to see it's Trent's hand. My face was confused as he let out a soft chuckle.

" You looked like you could use a hand." He shaking the water from his hair.

Dear Kami-sama. He looks like a Greek GOD. Why am I thinking this? Oi, I am particularly pathetic today.

"Thank you Trent. I did." I said taking his and allowing him to pull onto the dock.

I stood up and dog dried the water from my short hair (Like Garra's just black). Then I walked over to Bridgette and sat with her.

"So. Who do you like Kitten?" Bridge asked.

"Trent, maybe. I don't know. It's way too early to say." I said, as I pulled out my lip ring and placed in a spacer.

"Really? I think you too would make a really cute couple." she said.

"Really? Like you and Geoff boy over there?" I asked with a dark smirk on my face.

"How did you-" she started, but I cut her off.

"I have my ways of knowing." I said, winking at her.

Then Chris started talking.

"This is Camp Wawankwa your home for the summer. The campers sitting around you will be your cabin mates, your competition, and maybe even your friends." he said.

Harold looked at Duncan and smiled then Duncan got up to beat him up.

"Ya dig? The camper that manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest with out getting voted off will win 100,000 dollars." Chris said.

"Excuse me,what will the sleeping arrangements be? Cause I'd like to request a bunk under her." Duncan said pointing to Heather.

"Um,the cabin's aren't co-ed are they?" Heather asked nervously.

"Nope. Girls get one half, guys get the other." Chris said.

"Excuse me Kyle? Can I gat a cabin with a lake front view since I'm the prettiest?" Lindsay asked.

My momma told me if you have nothing nice to say don't say nothin at all.

"OK you would be if Aussie Lee wasn't here. And it's CHRIS." he said.

After he said that I felt eyes boring into my back. I turned and saw every boy but Duncan and Trent, who was looking away with a blush, staring at me.

"I hate it when people stare."I said looking over my shoulder and death glaring.

"Here's the deal. You'll be splitting into two teams. Your name is called out stand over there. Gwen, Aussie Lee, Trent, Heather, Cody, Lindsay, Beth, Katie, Owen, LaShawna, Justin and Noah. You guys are officially known as the Screaming Gophers!" Chris said tossing us a green flag with a screaming gopher on it.

Super. Today can't get any better. Just how I wanted to spend my summer vacation, being a flippin gopher with people I don't know on a reality TV show. Hey, I'm a poet. I thought as I smirked.

"Yeah! I'm a Gopher! WOOOOO!"Owen yelled.

"Wait! What about Sadie?" Kati asked.

"The rest of you over here. Geoff, Bridgette, Duncan, DJ, Tyler, Sadie, Izzy, Courtney, Ezekiel, Eva, and Harold. Move, move, move!' Chris said.

"But Kati's a Gopher! I have to be a Gopher!" Sadie yelled.

"Sadie is it? Come on it'll be okay." Courtney said leading Sadie away.

"You lot are going as the Killer Bass!" Chris said tossing them a red flag with a bass on it.

Then I heard that there was a confessional and rushed for the small outhouse.

Confessional

Austin: Well now I know why Chris looked familiar he's dating my mother. Talk about awkward.

End Confessional

"Alright go find your cabins. Gophers, you're in the east cabin. Killer Bass, the west cabin."Chris said, before  walking off.

I took off for our cabin faster than a elephant running from a lion. Entering the cabin, I nabbed a top bunk and went under the bed. There, I found some loose floorboards and ripped them away. Slipping my footlocker I had stocked full of non-perishable foods in the hole. Then I placed the floor boards back were they belong.

"Yo,Aussie! Mind if I crash with you hon?" LaShawna asked.

"Sure! You seem really cool." I said, giving her the bottoms bunk.

I stuck my ear phones in and started listening to Pay Phone by Maroon 5.

IN THE MAIN LODGE

We were all in line to get what Chef Hatchet said was lunch. Though when I heard Gwen's lunch scream at her, my theory was correct; they really are trying to starve us. I was behind Noah ready to be slopped as I felt my stomach sink at the thought of eating it. Mom, why can't you flex your power over Chris to save me from eating this slop.

"Hey! Girlie pants! According to Chris you don't eat what everyone else is getting! So here's your hamburger and fries with some drink called Monster." Chef said, before handing me the actual food.

"Hey hold up! How come she get's real food?"I heard Heather scream from her place at the table.

"Because my mom's Chris's girlfriend as of two weeks ago. So drop it." I said sneering at Heather.

"Welcome to the main Lodge!" Chris cheered as he walked into Heather's dark ,but way less scarier than mine, glare.

"Why didn't you say you were dating Austin's MOTHER?!" Heather barked.

"What I do in my personal life with a hot super model is my thing to worry about not yours." He said.

"First challenge is in a hour." Chris said walking out.

"Your mom is Yuki Inu Cross?!" Everyone yelled, as I sighed, cracking open the monster.

"Yes. And Louis from One Direction is my brother. I hang out with Justin Bieber, Taylor Launter,and Zayn Malik and anyone inbetween." I said walking off giving Duncan and Bridgette my burger and fries,but i took my monster. Our first challenge. How easy will it be i wonder?
