"Are you alright?" I asked.

Her face was still pale and was covered in blood. I put her down on a pile of leaves under a tree. I wiped it off of her face and smiled at her, my eyes laced with concern.

She pushed herself up on her left arm.

"Yes I am fine." she said. If her tone was meant to be concerning her body definitely showed the opposite. I sighed looking down at her and slipped a hand behind her back. I pressed down lightly on her collar bone forcing her to lie down on my hand.

"Is it cold?" I asked.

"No my body gets used to the temperatures real quickly."

"Anyways, let's get back home. Its freezing out here." I grinned at her, and picked her up. I carried her all the way to the palace.

"Sire! What happened?" the maids rushed to us, and immediately bombarded us with questions.

"Please stop talking, and go get Mayura!" I raised my voice slightly to be heard over all the noise.

"Yes sir!" A messenger was immediately send to the main palace, and Benio was taken into the infirmary wing. Several maids attended to her, but there were more on my side.

I could tell that the maids weren't very careful with her. Often moans of pain were heard from her side, and the cooing of the maids. But their words were not comforting and warm, they were more of annoying cold ones.
