It was morning and I felt warmth around me. No doubt Rokuro's. I snuggled deeper into his chest and felt his hands tighten their grip around me.

"You're awake." he sounded a bit tired, as if he went to bed extremely late last night.

"Mmm..." I pushed myself up and stroked his chestnut hair. He gave a happy sigh and closed his eyes falling asleep again. What was he doing last night?

Then I remembered. Today was our wedding day! Then I took a peek outside. There was a light snow falling on the ground. The forest could be seen through the window, and the leaves had started to fall leaving the branches bare and spooky. As I stared outside a sudden wave of home-sickness came over me and I just had to leave. I left my gloves on the table beside the bed and slipped on a full sleeve blue shirt and a purple skirt. I swung my bow and arrow over my shoulders. I didn't bother wearing my gloves since they'll get ruined.

I placed a small kiss on Rokuro's forehead before jumping out the window and into the wild unknown. Call me crazy if you want. I mean who leaves the house without a sweater or a jacket when it's like -20 degrees outside? Well, I do.

I climbed up a tree and blew a shrill whistle. A million birds immediately swarmed around me. They chirped noisily, and I was glad I was in the middle of the forest. One of them with the help of some others got me a leaf with some water. I smiled a little and petted their heads. Soon we were surrounded by other woodsland creatures. Some of them brought fruits and others entertained me. The birds chirped a song while the rabbits, deer, and foxes tried to dance. But their choreography would fall apart and they would stumble upon each other. It was hilarious and even though they fell down they looked at me and I would smile.

We went to the spot which we called the 'hideout'. It wasn't much but a little inhill cave with its entrance like a hole in the ground. It was surround by rocks in such a way that no one could see it unless you were desperate to find something worthwhile or important. I had stumbled upon it by accident. One of the rabbits had lost their baby and were searching for the little one. I ended up looking into each and every small crook and cranny, and found the little one stuck in the cave.

There was a little sunlight coming through the entrance. Just enough to make a sundial and be able to use it.

I checked the time, and decided I still had time to stay with my friends. Suddenly the ground shook. I ran outside ready to draw out an arrow if the Impurities tried to attack us.

Several birds flew out of the trees and that was the code for 'Danger Ahoy'. I slipped in between trees and shot a few arrows around the creatures eyes. Just enough in the right spots to limit its vision.

I shot another straight at its heart, and the thing dropped to the ground, dead. The animals immediately set to work clearing up everything, getting ready for the colder weather. As they cleared up, I ran back to the Palace.
