Noble wasn't the protagonist.
He knew that because his friend was.
Cecil. Aged 16. 182cm tall.
Very protagonist like.
Compared to that Noble was insignificant.
Noble. Aged 15. 169cm tall.
Currently Noble was watching Cecil. He wasn't a stalker or anything but he had been asked to protect Ariana.
Did he forget to mention that Cecil was a Prince?

Unfortunately, Cecil had recently become interested in a girl called Shelly. Because of this his girlfriend Ariana had become jealous.
As the man who promised he'd get them together Arianas father had asked him to protect her whilst she undoubtedly tried some terrible scheme to separate the two.
So, he was asked to spy on his best friend and Shelly and to protect Ariana from any danger she would put herself in.
Sadly he had to agree to this.
Why?
Because Cecil was the protagonist he was not. And Cecil needed guidance or else Arianas father will kill him. Due to this Cecil was close to dying at any second and didn't even realise.
Noble felt sorry for all those protagonists.
Thankfully Noble knew he was not the protagonist so he was safe.
However, as the friend of the protagonist it was still likely he'd be killed off in order to develop the plot.
Maybe he should stay away from the protagonist.
