Sonadow-Under the Stars

Chapter One

Shadow lay on the grass looking at the stars admiring their beauty. He loved to do this every night on the ark with Maria. Now, he did it alone and it hurt. He wished Sonic was here. Yes he developed feelings for Sonic. He had found out that Sonic loved to watch the stars from the roof of his house and wanted a better place to watch them closer. Shadow stumbled upon this open field when he was trying to run from Rouge who wanted to take him shopping. He came here every night to watch the stars. Sometimes, it felt like Maria was beside him and they were making up their constellations.

Shadow stretched out the next morning. He had fallen asleep too lazy to make his way back to his mansion. He hated living alone but couldn't ask Rouge or Tails or Knuckles to move in. He'd ask Silver but he and Blaze went to the future to visit some people. He got up and began to walk towards his mansion. He didn't notice Sonic standing at his door rocking himself at his heels.

"Shadow!" He waved excitedly at Shadow as he drew nearer. "I'm bored, wanna race?"

Shadow growled. "I'm not wasting my time racing you."

Sonic pouted. "Okay fine! Tails destroyed the house...again. I need somewhere to sleep a since Tails is staying with Cream. I'd stay with Amy but she'd probably drug me, Knuckles would down right refuse, Rouge is always horny and you're my last option so pleassssee!"

Shadow folded his arms and glared at him. "Why should I do that exactly?"

Sonic pouted. "I'll be homeless if you don't and I really want to stay with you cause I want to be friends."

Shadow raised his eye ridge. "Friends?"

Sonic smiled and hugged Shadow. "You agreed!" Shadow was too shocked to push him off. Sonic pulled away and ran into the mansion. Shadow snapped out if his trance and followed him. Sonic was speeding around admiring the well furnished house. Shadow as a top agent for G.U.N. got many luxuries. They built the house and gave him everything he needed.

As Sonic sped past Shadow, he stopped him with his hand making the hero fall to the ground. Sonic jumped up stumbling. Shadow rolled his eyes. "I have three rules for you and breaking one me and you're out of here. Don't break anything, don't enter my room unless I give you permission and don't think of ever bugging me!"

Sonic nodded and continued his tour. After a few minutes, he sat at the kitchen counter stuffing his mouth with chillidogs. Shadow was forced to keep a stash of them in case Silver came over or Sonic. Once he was done, he stared at Shadow who was on the phone with Rouge who was crying. Shadow looked bummed when she insisted on speaking to Sonic.

"Sonic!" She cried. "It hurts a lot and Shadow's being mean about it!"

"Your period right?" She made a sound that meant yes. "When Amy has her periods, we make her drink hot coffee with lots of sugar. You should call her to make it for you."

"Okay." She cut the line as Sonic handed Shadow back his phone.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Sonic asked and Shadow snorted.

"No way. I like someone else and it can never be her." He said looking down. He knew Sonic would demand to know who it was. Before he could say a word, Shadow shushed him. "I'm not telling you faker. What do want to do cause I'm really bored."

Sonic's eyes lit up as he zoomed into a room and came out holding some game controllers. "Sega produced this game called Sonic and Mario Winter Olympics. Wanna play?"

They spent the whole day playing Olympic games. Around night, Mrs. Vanilla called them to meet her in the park.

"I wonder what she wants." Shadow said as they walked to the park.

They saw everyone waiting there and were confused till they all looked at the duo smiling.

"Camp!"
