Noah and I were out at a party. He was flirting with another girl! I saw it with my own eyes and he wouldn't even own up to it! How pathetic!
"We were just having a conversation!" He yelled back, his face burning red with anger.
"Oh so when you have a conversation with someone you hold their hands? Caress their cheek? Buy them a drink?!"
"You're taking this out of proportion, Richelle!"
Things were getting heated. I felt my hear pounding. We'd never been in a situation like this before. Was Noah really going to cheat on me?
"No I'm not!"
"Yes you are!!"
He raised his fist in the air. Instantly, I covered my face with my arms and walked backwards a little. I froze in fear. He was going to hit me. I had annoyed him too much. No wonder he was flirting with another girl!
But nothing happened.
"Richie...." he trailed off as the feeling of his cold hands touched my skin, separating my arms from my face.
He looked at me with sorrow in his eyes.
"You thought I was going to hit you...." he placed his hand in mine, gently taking me over to the sofa where we sat down.
I didn't know what to say. I did think he was going to hit me. I was scared of him. But now I was just a little confused.
I felt him embrace me into a hug.
"Oh baby girl I'm so sorry," he whispered into my hair and kissed my forehead as my skin tingled. "I would never hit you. Never. I love you so much, and I'm sorry about tonight. I should never had spoken to that girl. Please forgive me?"
I looked up at him; I could see that he meant it. He looked so cute.
"I don't know...." I smiled a little, looking up at him, intwining my fingers with his. "This girl...I bet she couldn't do this."
I leaned up at him, kissing him and taking him by surprise.
"Definitely not."
